  14. Hey I noticed an issue: When you select the Edgeville furnace even with zoom level reset the bot will walk to furnace with minimap, then mis-click the furnace and run behind it or sometimes attempt to run behind it and then run back and use the furnace each time. This seems like it would draw un-wanted attention, but doesn't seem to be a bug or anything just wanted to mention it to see if it was able to be fixed to decrease bans. Seemed to be a combination of zoom level, and VM resources being allocated on my part causing it to lag a bit and mis-click. Got it fixed now Love your scripts keep up the great work!

  15. Dragon Slayer is the best F2P quest for training up an account, but others are mostly member Will push an update shortly It will theoretically work if you load the graceful set into a gear preset, but I wouldn’t recommend using non tradeables for gear; It will work but might cause some rare issues What’s printed in the logger when this happens? (toggle logger button is at bottom right corner of the client) Will try to include a check to make sure it’s the correct Veos today Probably this month Does this issue persist after restarting the client? It seems as if it is unable to detect the bank interface It will deposit the staff prior to heading to Entrana, and will use manual cast while on the island

  16. Hello czar, first of, congratz, i really really loved ur script. Second, could u please add a feature that clicks "yes i want to go to the wilderness" when the warning shows? Im doing chaos druids rn and when this signs show up, the script keeps clicking over and over "open" to go to the wilderness, but doesnt confirm the warning to go on, which if it persists in a long time, may causa bans. Could u please fix this?? Thanks a lot :DDD

  22. Alright Czar, having an issue with the script, just testing a simple task of killing men in edge, looting their bones, picking up the arrows i fire etc, got everything working fine, but i can't have it withdraw food from the bank - ticking the banking feature is fine, the bot carrys on, and even will deposit loot etc, but if i ask it to withdraw 2 trout or salmon, it just stands there. What am i doing wrong? Cheers

  24. Great script, can you fix the barb fishing and cooking part though please? It is always trying to cook 2-3 salmon at a time. Like it'll click 1 salmon to put on fire start cooking it then go to the next salmon and try to cook it and most of the time its already been cooked by that time so it errors out saying you cant cook that. Can you have it just select 1 salmon on fire to cook them all then 1 trout. not constantly trying to keep selecting fish to cook, thanks!

  25. Got a lil weird bug to report. I'm using CLI to start a fighting task after doing some quests. and that quest needs me to have full mage gear on to beat it. If I use CLI to start a melee fighter script, it bugs out if the character is wearing a staff. It'll just stand there trying to switch the combat. Also is it possible to put some fail safes in equipping things? Like stat checks for steel, mith, addy, rune?

  26. Would this be able to travel using ships or tabs? or is there a way for me to get this enabled by default if lauching through cli? That custom area selection looks quite nice

  28. Introduction As many of you already know, a few months ago Jagex released an update that changed how f2p accounts are restricted to trading. Now accounts must have met the following conditions in order trade in certain ways (this will be explained later on in this guide): Accounts must have 20HRS of ingame time logged in Accounts must have 100 total level Accounts must have 10QP This guide aims to help inform people about the most effective ways of making accounts that have met those conditions, and also ways of getting around the trade restrictions entirely. Restricted Items and Trading Before we can discuss getting around the trade restrictions, we need to understand how the restrictions impact f2p trading in general and what items are restricted. On the 2nd of April, Jagex implemented the following rules on all f2p accounts: Items dropped by a brand-new account cannot be picked up by other players, although brand-new players can still pick up items dropped by others. If a brand-new player is PK’d, the PKer will still receive most of their tradable items – the exception is noted items, which are capped at 20 notes per item. Brand-new players may receive items in a trade but cannot give items away. Brand-new players cannot log in to PvP worlds. Brand-new players cannot create ‘Sell’ offers for commonly botted items on the GE. Brand-new players cannot add items to the Party Chest. Brand-new players cannot stake in the Duel Arena. So what does this all mean? Let's break it down point by point. Items dropped by a brand-new account cannot be picked up by other players, although brand-new players can still pick up items dropped by others. This means that new f2p accounts can no longer mule through drop trading. If a brand-new player is PK’d, the PKer will still receive most of their tradable items – the exception is noted items, which are capped at 20 notes per item. This is pretty key. What this means is that muling through the wilderness can still be done (this will be explained later on). Brand-new players may receive items in a trade but cannot give items away. A pretty straight forward point, you can still give your bots items that they may need to use. Brand-new players cannot log in to PvP worlds. This means that if you plan on doing muling through pking, it cannot be done in PvP worlds. Brand-new players cannot create ‘Sell’ offers for commonly botted items on the GE. Another key point. New F2P accounts can still sell items on the GE, just items that aren't considered "commonly botted" (this will also be explained later on) Brand-new players cannot add items to the Party Chest. Another straight forward point, no muling through the party room Brand-new players cannot stake in the Duel Arena. No muling through the duel arena. So what are these "commonly botted" items that were mentioned earlier on? There's a list of all of them on the OSRS wiki: https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Account#Restricted_items What does this all mean then? Well since f2p accounts can still sell some items on the GE, on top of the several other rules in place listed above, there are several loopholes that one can abuse to get around the trade restrictions. We're not going to state all of them here, as an important part of botting is thinking of your own unique methods to help set up your bot farm however, we will give some hints on how to do wilderness muling. Wilderness muling is a form of getting around the trade restrictions, it involves taking your bot(s) to the wilderness holding the item you would like to mule and pking it with your mule account. This is a risky form of muling, however, as there is always the risk of other pkers luring and killing your bots/ your mule (please note that there may be a potential limit of how much gold an account can drop when pked in the wilderness). As mentioned earlier, there are other methods of muling, however, a good amount of these methods run the risk of other players stealing items that you may be attempting to mule. On top of this, not every may be running a farm, some people need to get around the trade restrictions for other reasons (such as gold selling). For these, it's better to just meet the conditions of the trade restriction. 20 HRS, 100 Total Level and 10QP? As mentioned before, in order to get around these new restrictions accounts need to have 20hrs, 100 total level and 10QP. So what are the most efficient methods of meeting these conditions? Lets start with getting 100 Total Level and 10QP Luckily with the way how f2p quests are rewarded, it's possible to get 100 total level purely by completing quests and also get 10QP at the same time. The following quest order will achieve just that: Cooks Assistant X marks the spot Restless Ghost Imp Catcher Dorics Quest Witch's Potion Knight Sword Vampire Slayer Completing these quests will get you 100 total level and 10QP. However, it's possible to get the 10QP seperately then get 100 total level in whatever stats you need. For example, complete Romeo and Juliet and Goblin Diplomacy to get 10QP. Then woodcutting/mining to whatever stats needed for your farm etc. Probably the hardest part of all this is reaching 20HRS ingame time. Since 20HRS is plenty of time for Jagex to pick out and ban accounts, the only real way to get around this is to afk for 20hrs by using a script or by hand. So that concludes our guide to getting around these new trade restrictions. If you have any contributions/corrections feel free to put them below this guide, otherwise happy botting!

  29. Preventing RS Botting Bans V3 Written by Alek 1. Introduction This guide is Version 3 of my original guide released 4 years ago. I decided to focus more on commonly asked questions and general misconceptions about botting. Many of the topics are very technical and there are brilliant engineers who both bust bots and create them. The majority of botters who come here have little to no programming experience, or very little knowledge in subject areas such as reverse engineering. It’s very difficult to fully explain all key concepts, however hopefully this material will give you a base reference to draw your own conclusions. 2. How to not get banned The secret formula to botting is keeping a very, very, low profile. This game has been around for 15+ years, that is a TON of data to play with. Generally speaking: -Don’t bot more than 4 hours per day -Don’t bot more than 10 hours per week -Diversify your tasks -Don’t use a VPN/VPS/proxy -Don’t bot more than one account -Do quests -Don’t RWT/goldfarm -Don’t bot in hot spots, use places like Zeah You’re going to have a ton of people say, “oh I suicided for 11 years straight, never logged out, I make $500k/year”, etc. They simply don’t. Either they haven’t botted long enough or their claims are baseless. If you want to keep your account relatively safe then don’t bot longer than the times I recommended above. Time played is a key factor into profiling a bot, it’s been even talked about on official livestreams during live bot busting events. 3. Misconceptions The biggest misconception is that the company doesn’t have any automatic detection systems. Although the detection vectors improve over the years, there are official statements claiming that all bans are manually reviewed before being issued. THIS DOES NOT MEAN ACCOUNTS ARE NOT AUTOMATICALLY FLAGGED. Common situation: Suicide bot on the weekend without getting banned, account gets a ban on the following Monday or Tuesday. This is because your account was probably flagged over the weekend, then eventually reviewed for the final determination on the following business days. Another misconception is that if you “survived the weekend”, then you are safe. This is certainly not true, most anticheat will "flag and monitor". This means that you were in fact detected but the anticheat is watching your actions very closely to grab more information about what you are doing. Information from these monitoring sessions are used to quickly detect and ban in the future. For Runescape, one example is the use of bot worlds. Another non-Runescape example is Valve-AntiCheat profiling numerous hacks over the course of months and then issue behemoth ban waves all at once for games like Counter-Strike. 4. Antiban/Antipattern Scripters who include antiban/antipattern methods in their scripts are either naive, new scripters, or are trying to earn more sales by making false promises. Competitor clients further this perpetuation by forcing script writers to implement these methods. It’s a gimmick and overall you’re going to get banned whether you use these "special methods" or not. Some of these “special” (aka worthless) methods are: -Moving your mouse randomly -Checking your exp -Examining random objects -Moving your camera angle randomly -Implementing “fatigue” systems -Diversifying the way you interact with objects One of the special methods I’d like to talk about which was not listed above was randomizing sleep time between actions. This is especially special because there are numerous flaws with it. 1. Your computer doesn’t perfectly execute actions in the same time every time 2. Your script doesn’t perfectly loop in the same time every time 3. Your ping fluctuates causing a delay between the client and server 4. If the top three all remained constant, you could find the upper and lower bounds of the mean and use statistics to recreate the sleep time. Anti-pattern is a bit different, but a lot of scripters have been wrongly claiming their script having “antipattern” when they’re really using the same “special methods”. Examples of antipattern: - Talking to other players (Cleverbot) - Mixing up tasks (perhaps after accumulating X gold, go to the Grand Exchange and sell) The goal of anti-pattern is to reduce the chances of being manually reported by other players for botting. Although “antipattern” is more desirable than “antiban”, there is still no definitive proof of the impact it has in the total picture. 5. Client detection 5A. I’m going to keep this relatively brief because this is probably the most technical aspect of this guide. There is an overarching debate over Injection vs Reflection and it’s pretty silly. Both are detectable because both have different ways you can detect it. In the non-Java hacking world, this would be equivalent to something like ReadProcessMemory versus LoadLibrary. To better put it, reading memory from outside the process versus inside. There are ways to hide it, ways to find it, ways to hide against the ways to find it, and ways to find the ways how to hide it against from finding it. As you can see, it’s really cat and mouse and it boils down to implementation. 5B. Additionally, you can be detected for macroing without even using a client. You can banned for using Gary's Hood or AutoHotKey. Both of these use some sort of Windows API function like SendInput, from protected mode. This is how color-bots also get detected without injecting/reflecting the client. 5C. Mirror Mode adds some protection to users where the normal OSBot client can be detected. Think of mirror-mode as a safety catch rather than a comprehensive antiban measure; and yes mirror mode has genuinely protected users at least on one confirmed occasion. In summary, you will still get banned because mirror-mode only protects you from one aspect of botting and there are potentially hundreds of detection vectors. 6. Conclusion and final remarks Having good botting habits like I outlined in section two, and having a good script which is reliable and not prone to getting baited (locked behind doors, etc), is your safest bet. There are people who do “studies” and “research” but ultimately their results are inconclusive, non-definitive, and certainly only proves a correlation and not causation. There are too many variables to isolate to make any data worthwhile; ip address, computer, scripts, clients, botting locations, skills, account time, bot time, quests, RWT, java exceptions, client detection, the list goes on and on. Too many variables to isolate, too much that we cannot prove. The bottom-line is that the only people who know specifics about the anticheat system are the anticheat developers.
