Introduction As many of you already know, a few months ago Jagex released an update that changed how f2p accounts are restricted to trading. Now accounts must have met the following conditions in order trade in certain ways (this will be explained later on in this guide): Accounts must have 20HRS of ingame time logged in Accounts must have 100 total level Accounts must have 10QP This guide aims to help inform people about the most effective ways of making accounts that have met those conditions, and also ways of getting around the trade restrictions entirely. Restricted Items and Trading Before we can discuss getting around the trade restrictions, we need to understand how the restrictions impact f2p trading in general and what items are restricted. On the 2nd of April, Jagex implemented the following rules on all f2p accounts: Items dropped by a brand-new account cannot be picked up by other players, although brand-new players can still pick up items dropped by others. If a brand-new player is PK’d, the PKer will still receive most of their tradable items – the exception is noted items, which are capped at 20 notes per item. Brand-new players may receive items in a trade but cannot give items away. Brand-new players cannot log in to PvP worlds. Brand-new players cannot create ‘Sell’ offers for commonly botted items on the GE. Brand-new players cannot add items to the Party Chest. Brand-new players cannot stake in the Duel Arena. So what does this all mean? Let's break it down point by point. Items dropped by a brand-new account cannot be picked up by other players, although brand-new players can still pick up items dropped by others. This means that new f2p accounts can no longer mule through drop trading. If a brand-new player is PK’d, the PKer will still receive most of their tradable items – the exception is noted items, which are capped at 20 notes per item. This is pretty key. What this means is that muling through the wilderness can still be done (this will be explained later on). Brand-new players may receive items in a trade but cannot give items away. A pretty straight forward point, you can still give your bots items that they may need to use. Brand-new players cannot log in to PvP worlds. This means that if you plan on doing muling through pking, it cannot be done in PvP worlds. Brand-new players cannot create ‘Sell’ offers for commonly botted items on the GE. Another key point. New F2P accounts can still sell items on the GE, just items that aren't considered "commonly botted" (this will also be explained later on) Brand-new players cannot add items to the Party Chest. Another straight forward point, no muling through the party room Brand-new players cannot stake in the Duel Arena. No muling through the duel arena. So what are these "commonly botted" items that were mentioned earlier on? There's a list of all of them on the OSRS wiki: https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Account#Restricted_items What does this all mean then? Well since f2p accounts can still sell some items on the GE, on top of the several other rules in place listed above, there are several loopholes that one can abuse to get around the trade restrictions. We're not going to state all of them here, as an important part of botting is thinking of your own unique methods to help set up your bot farm however, we will give some hints on how to do wilderness muling. Wilderness muling is a form of getting around the trade restrictions, it involves taking your bot(s) to the wilderness holding the item you would like to mule and pking it with your mule account. This is a risky form of muling, however, as there is always the risk of other pkers luring and killing your bots/ your mule (please note that there may be a potential limit of how much gold an account can drop when pked in the wilderness). As mentioned earlier, there are other methods of muling, however, a good amount of these methods run the risk of other players stealing items that you may be attempting to mule. On top of this, not every may be running a farm, some people need to get around the trade restrictions for other reasons (such as gold selling). For these, it's better to just meet the conditions of the trade restriction. 20 HRS, 100 Total Level and 10QP? As mentioned before, in order to get around these new restrictions accounts need to have 20hrs, 100 total level and 10QP. So what are the most efficient methods of meeting these conditions? Lets start with getting 100 Total Level and 10QP Luckily with the way how f2p quests are rewarded, it's possible to get 100 total level purely by completing quests and also get 10QP at the same time. The following quest order will achieve just that: Cooks Assistant X marks the spot Restless Ghost Imp Catcher Dorics Quest Witch's Potion Knight Sword Vampire Slayer Completing these quests will get you 100 total level and 10QP. However, it's possible to get the 10QP seperately then get 100 total level in whatever stats you need. For example, complete Romeo and Juliet and Goblin Diplomacy to get 10QP. Then woodcutting/mining to whatever stats needed for your farm etc. Probably the hardest part of all this is reaching 20HRS ingame time. Since 20HRS is plenty of time for Jagex to pick out and ban accounts, the only real way to get around this is to afk for 20hrs by using a script or by hand. Anti-ban and Optimal script usage Anti-ban: - Don't go botting more than 3 hours at once, take breaks! Otherwise the ban-rate is highly increased! - Bans also depend on where you bot, for the best results: bot in unpopular locations Banking-related spells are the lowest ban-rate (spells which require banking or can be casted near a bank, e.g. superheating, maybe alching, jewelry enchanting etc etc) since you can just go to a full world and blend in with other non-bots (humans), for example: world 2 grand exchange If casting spells on npcs, then unpopular locations reduce the banrate by alot, So make sure not to go to botting hotspots otherwise you may be included in ban waves. - Some good areas used to be (until some got popular): grizzly bear, yanille stun-alching, any overground tiles (upstairs etc) but once the areas are overpopulated, try to go to another location which is similar to the aforementioned locations. This is a very popular thread with many many users so if a new location is mentioned, the location will be populated very quickly so I can only suggest examples of good locations - Don't go botting straight after a game update, it can be a very easy way to get banned. Wait a few hours! If you ever get banned, just backtrack your mistakes and avoid them in the future: you cannot be banned without making botting mistakes. Keep in mind you can be delay-banned from using previous scripts, so don't go using free/crap scripts for 24 hours then switching to a premium script, because the free/crap previous script can still get you banned! Recently I've been seeing a lot of threads about people botting [agility] and getting instantly banned, others speculating on ban rates, Jagex's detection methods and a whole lot of stuff. Seeing how the timing couldnt be any better to start botting - summer & epic wheather, I thought I'd take up the challenge. What really prompted me to do this was that I had a couple of Twitch-prime accounts laying around which I originally made to test random stuff on, but seeing as they had no stats and no quests completed, with a couple of days membership left I went forward with the idea and started from there. All of this into account and I had myself the perfect guinnea pigs for this pet project. I'll bond them for membership eventually though if they make it that far. Alternatively, I could start everything over and make new accounts to bond those up, or maybe even try this on a decently progressed account, but then it wouldn't really be 1-99 agility instead maybe something like 50-99 or whatever depending on which account I pick. • Setup I won't bother with buying anything too fancy like a VPS, proxies etc. (but I will be using a VPN) to complete my goal, I'll try to use the most basic setup I can. After a couple of hours of searching and re-assembling I got myself the very same computer I used to run a fishing farm on around 2010-2012, which I'll be using to bot on. Instead of botting on my home IP, I'll be using a VPN. For a couple of reasons, since I will occaisonally be on my main computer doing stuff, if I happen to want to play RS and so they won't effect eachother if cross-checked by IP or some other speculatory jumbo. We'll have to see how long it's gonna take as I don't really know, I'll try to run the bot 24-hours non-stop until I get banned or something else gets in the way but I can't promise that it'll be a 1-99 in one session. Seeing as I don't have a real plan on the most efficient way to bot, or haven't purchased a script I'll be making most the stuff I need myself and sort of wing it throughout the experience as I go. So, let's get started. PS. Oh and one thing I forgot to mention... the reason why the PC I'm using to bot with was in parts and not being used is because a couple of years ago it just started to die.. I don't remember 100% what the problem was, something like the RAM/OS drive/MOBO got corrupted and would randomly shut the entire PC down. Wow impressive updates, I can see the red sallys run way smoother now after fixing the pathing back to the 3 main trees. Few things: - Script still likes to regularly turn the camera into a wierd angle (keeps looking from the south so your basically just staring at the big brown dead tree. That way it needs to right click a lot. Camera should probably always just be inside the 90 degree angle from looking from the south, between looking from the west. No need for it to be looking from another angle. - I have no banking enabled, but it decided to teleport out all of a sudden a few minutes in to bank (I paused the script a little and resumed, maybe that was the reason but I'm not sure). EDIT: Tested it again, and a few minutes in it just randomly decides to run to a bank for some reason. Also other ideas: - In dead time, maybe you can program it to drop the salamanders while you wait for the traps? or make the script drop a few salamanders every now and then when running between traps? That would increase efficiency/xp per hour

I love the script as well, very much so, Is there something I am doing wrong between quests to make this script bank? It seems that one of the problems I am having recently as well is it will complete a quest and then just not bank and start the next one. Any suggestions @Token

So I got the idea that perhaps running OSBot on Kubernetes could be viable for big fully automated farms, running a high number of accounts/clients at once. I played around with it a little and managed to deploy a simple script that merely logs each loop and let's the account stay idle in-game. I'm hoping to have some free time soon to be able to play around and evaluate whether the usage of Cloud Kubernetes options like the Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) are viable options in terms of costs/benefits. I believe that it might be a cheaper and easier solution to manage big farms on a cloud-managed Kubernetes cluster as opposed to purchasing and managing multiple VPS's, although that is simply a hypothesis. I'll have to look into the costs and comparisons. Just a simple snapshot to show the deployment on GKE; Is there anybody that has also played around with this/has any tips, knowledge or whatsoever to share?

This is a custom version of the script which allows me to switch accounts once a run has been completed. So instead of 1 birdhouse run every 50 minutes, it does 6. You could actually do about 15 accounts with one client since it takes about 3 mins per trip on each account. You must have unlocked the Fossil Island Teleport (it takes like 2 mins) This section enables Farm runs. It will log in to do a run every 80 minutes (growth rate of herbs). Must Haves: YOU MUST HAVE RINGS OF DUELING TO USE FARMING - The script uses Castle Wars as a hub to re-gear for Farm Runs and BH Runs. This might change in the future. You must start the script in Castle Wars for now. If doing BH & Farm Runs, you must have Digsite Pendants as well. Seeds: You can choose specific seeds to use or choose the "Best in Bank" option. This option will automatically use the best seed in your bank which you can plant based on your farming level. If you want good exp, I recommend manually planting White Lilys in every patch (this protects all allotments). Then, turn off the flower seed option so you don't remove them and use a high level allotment seed like Snape Grass. Leprechaun: Here you can specify which type of compost you want to use (or none, but that would be dumb). Make sure your leprechaun has plenty of composts of the type you chose. Using the Plant cure option will make your player withdraw a Plant Cure from the leprchaun if he comes across a diseased patch which actually happens semi-frequently. Don't select this option if your leprechaun doesn't have plant cures. Equipment: Magic secateurs - Requires Fairy Tale Pt1, have in bank or equipped Amulets of bounty - These can save you some money if using snape grass seeds frequently, have a bunch in your bank if you choose this option Patches: Hosidius - Requires 31 Magic , a house in Hosidius, & House Tele runes OR you can select the Xeric's Talisman option which only requires a charged Talisman Camelot - 45 Magic & Camelot Tele Runes Ardougne - 51 Magic, Plague City Quest, Ardy Tele Runes Morytania - Ectophial, Ghost's Ahoy Quest Falador - 37 Magic , Fally Tele Runes There are going to be a lot more transportation options in the next release Other features: Empty Nests - this option will empty all of the ring/herb nests in your bank. Start next to any bank Buy hop seeds in Draynor - Buys Hops seeds from Olivia in Draynor and hops worlds. Have coins, 5 empty slots, & start in Draynor Market Required items & Start Location: The bottom of the GUI has a dynamic list of items & start locations that change based on your selected options It's quite simple: IF YOU DON'T HAVE OR RUN OUT OF ANY OF THESE ITEMS, THE BOT WILL PROBABLY HAVE SOME ISSUES. So stock up or turn options off based on what you have Known Issues & How to Fix Bot stops doing anything and logger has "java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: unable to create new native thread" Below are screenshots from 2 of my test accounts (both HC ironmen). All of the Hunter levels are from birdhouses (not a single trap set). Also, notice how low the slayer levels are which proves that I got the seeds from birdhouses and farming contracts only.
