Some seem to forget about a particular random event called 'the evil chicken', let's recap on the chicken! - It fire magic at you from a long distance. - it can hit hard. - it doesn't care about your defence level - and simply has no remorse. And as a pure, your combat level will rise, therefore you may encounter stronger chickens. So lets set the scene: There you are, botting some combat levels, puring away, minding your own business, it appears you've been there for a while, your foods getting low, the bot is doing its job, suddenly, a wild evil chickens appears! What do you do? Fight, item, pkmn or run? Well, the bot will eat, probably try and attack, (not sure what happens) but lets say it runs for you, you only have one trout left, you could find yourself SCREWED. as that chicken ranges you, and perhaps the bot cant get you out in time! OR perhaps the bot tries to step up to the chicken and attack it.. You'll run out of food and either kill, or be killed (bearing in mind you have you have one defence!) So, my botting friends, think, before you wear your best gear out, while botting (especially you, pures)

Sometimes what I do, is ill log onto two accounts, and talk back and forth between the two. It makes me feel happy inside

seeing as PurpleK's flax picking bot isn't working very well, and it looks like he wont update it any time soon, I made my own tree gnome stronghold flax bot It runs well, but I want to make sure its perfect. It just has a few small bugs right now, that ill need to fix. Bought an account to test it aswell(dont want my main perm banned)

What do you guys think about the current state of OSBot? I, for one, am extremely disappointed. It seems to me like the admins have just completed given up on the site. Maxi hasn't been active in a month now, scripts aren't being pushed into the SDN (unless they think it will make them a quick buck it seems like, because somehow GMC Superscript got through but other scripts like exachinner have been thoroughly ignored from what I've been seeing - correct me if I'm wrong), and the admins are providing us with little to no information about the progress with OSBot 2, or anything else related to the future of the bot. Do you guys think OSBot is dying? Do you think OSBot is just severely understaffed, or do you think that the admins are legitimately just too busy working on OSBot 2 to bother supporting their (paying) members? Personally, I absolutely refuse to purchase anything related to OSBot until the admins get their head in the game. When it comes down to it, OSBot is a business, and right now their customer support makes Comcast look good lol. What are your guys' thoughts?

Eh, since everyone might as well introduce themselves, I'll go for it. I joined on April 3rd of this year, so I'm one of the older member of the forums. However, after about a week of botting on the old groovy scripts, back when there were literally no hooks for anything (not even health!) I gave up and played EOC. Lately I came back to Runescape with the sole intention of goldfarming. My girlfriend always teases me about Runescape being a game for 10 year olds, so I figured I could really stick it to her by making some cash off of the game and using it to get her something nice and prove once and for all that Runescape isn't pointless (why do I feeling like I'm still not winning this one?) Anyway, I'm a pretty average opinionated teenager/young adult. If I ever come off as a total cockface, I'm sorry, I just don't usually like to sugarcoat things. Honesty is probably my worst quality. I used to skateboard, I'd like to say I'm pretty good, but I haven't had the time anymore because of school. My "hobbies" now essentially boil down to schoolwork, sleep, reddit, and going out for coffee after school (not exciting, but what can I say?) So I like this community quite a bit and I like to say I've been decently active ever since I started back up. The drama gets old sometimes, but it's a public forum, what're you gunna do? amirite? 800 dollars seems a bit overpriced The above config is probably the only way you'll run 20 bots smoothly + be able to browse the internet and do other things at the same time. As for your chosen PC on Amazon the CPU is nowhere near as good as the one I've picked in the above config here is a link for their benchmarks. The one I chose for you was the AMD FX 8350 < Can be overclocked slightly, you picked the i5 3330 < Can't be overclocked at all. http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=Intel+Core+i5-3330+%40+3.00GHz Also you picked a PC with no dedicated GPU, which means it uses the onboard processor to render games. This always ends up much worse in terms of gaming. The card I picked for you is a good entry level card for gaming and should allow you to play games like GTA IV, The Sims 3 etc on 40 FPS and above. The Onboard graphics processor would struggle to churn out 20 FPS. if my goal was solely just botting on a budget of 500ish would u recommend the amazon pc ? It would run probably 5-8 bots smoothly. If you want to make it run more, swap out the i5 3330 for the i5 3570k and overclock it when i have my money to buy a new computer. ill make a thread and listen to your advice :p

That's what I'm hoping. In the past, OSBot has always been very professional. What irks me about these issues isn't even necessarily the issues themselves, it's the lack of communication. How hard would it be for an admin to take 5 minutes to post "Look, we're sorry about the issues lately. Maxi has had real life issues to attend to and won't be back for X amount of weeks. If you're an nVidia person like myself, then the GTX 770 JetStream edition will set you back around £325 but performs AMAZINGLY well and outperforms the AMD. Don't delete anything. Just put one script in your OSBot script's map. Re start your client and run, check in the 'local scripts' section if your script is there and if it works. If it is : great! Go ahead and add some more scripts but do it one by one, if you're occuring an error when adding (for example) the third script you now that one is corrupted and you remove that one from your scripts. If you need help with this I would be glad to assistance you further!
