Around the forums you may see me say the phrase "bot smart" and this is what I mean when I say it. The following has several pointers on how to minimize the chance of getting banned while botting: ♢ For personal bots (botting on a main): ♢ For goldfarming bots: ♢ For if you have been banned recently: ♢ Never EVER share your RS Character Name on a forum: Willing to edit for other peoples pointers too . Remember in the end these tips do help BUT its a numbers game and you always run the risk of a ban or rollback when using botting software.

Script writer hasn't posted in here in a week, and hasn't updated his script in around that time as well. Is there a rule that puts a time limit on updating a script before it's taken down?

I have never been banned for botting and have botted on; Ranger Main Mage All I do on my main is babysit it and nothing bad ever seems to happen. If you have an auto talker in it it will probably help, else just chat to some random players every so often, make sure you do not get stuck on Random events and don't make the breaks seem to obvious. When I play legit I play for like 4/5hrs flat then break for maybe about 5hrs. Whereas bots break but the way they break is different: A bot gets told how long to break and how often It performs it It becomes a regular occurance RS see this and flag it saying "Wow, he's pretty accurate at the times he plays" You may be thought of as a botter and banned. So... just turn breaks off and bot, then stop it manually yourself. Occasionally do an all nighter but not too often, and you should be fine Best of luck, Graphical

I understand there's already a topic on this, I find it somewhat difficult to understand. Please understand that using breaks is an important part in keeping your account unbanned. More information on how to bot smart -> http://osbot.org/forum/topic/6894-bot-smart-what-it-is-how-to-do-it/ Defining the parts of a "break" [Average Interval] - The "average interval" is the average time between breaks. It's an "average" because of interval deviations, which i'll be getting to in a moment. This is how much time will be in between your breaks on average. [interval Deviation] - This is a very important part of making sure jagex doesn't notice a precise pattern in our breaks. Lets say your "average interval" is 75 minutes, and your "interval deviation" is 10 minutes. This means that the time between your breaks can be anywhere from 65 - 85 minutes. [Average Break Time] - The "average break time" is the average length of the breaks your account will be taking. It is an average, because there are also break deviations, which I will get to in a moment. Your "average break time" should be how long you want your account to stay logged off per break on average. [break Time Deviation] - Break time deviation is very similar to "interval deviation". Your "break time deviation" is how much the length of your accounts break can deviate from the average time. Lets say your "average break time" is 20 minutes and your "break time deviation" is 5 minutes. This means your accounts breaks will be anywhere from 15-25 minutes long. Here is a picture of my break setup Please be sure that you have the "enable breaks" box selected. Now, let me explain how breaks work going off of my break setup. My "average interval" is 75 minutes. my "interval deviation" is 25 minutes. This means that the time in between my accounts breaks can be anywhere from 50 - 100 minutes. my "average break time" is 25 minutes. My "break time deviation" is 10 minutes. Hey guys Derp here. And i'm wondering is this the new rsbot? The new age of botting? I like the sites layout and everything seems legit i would love to play again but what are your guys' opinions of the bot is it halfway decent i'm not asking if it stable just wondering if it will be a good bot in time. And no hate towards this site i really like this place.

You are botting smart, it will be a lower chance of any ban.

My login is seperate from OSBots and will remain seperate... If you are really that paranoid about login.. just create a random username and password that you don't use anywhere else... Most likely a temp ban. I started a brand new account and basically suicided flax for a week. It only got 2 days temp ban. Recently got a temp as well on my main but that was only a 1 day temp ban. It seems you are most likely to get a temp if first offence but second time is always perma.

prob a temp 2 day ban if they catch you, then if you get caught again perm ban.

wait what happened here? I posted poggies on Scythe without censoring them and got a 1 year ban upped to perm. but its ok cause it was a throwaway.

Well if its a VPS it doesnt need to change the IP often but most plans include certain amount of IPs you can use. Go daddy's has 5 you can use. Just switch them around

I believe the fishing guild isn't TOO high ban rate but i'm not sure, i put a link in the original post that goes to a thread that tracks the ban rate.

I personally never thought pictures like this had their place on forums but I could care less if someone uses such pictures, to me it just makes it obvious that they are severely sexually deprived
