  1. Sure you want to sell your gold, but what's the reason to undercut each other? If that's all you guys are going to do, Nobody is going to make any profit for it. Gold was at a steady 3$ for a long time until these "Feedback Farmers" came into play. Not going to mention any names, but the only reason those people are selling gold for so low is for feedback. They don't care about making a profit. They don't care about 3$ for 1M is already crazy low, they just want feedback for some reason. It's weird. I feel like everybody should raise their price back up from this stupid 2.75$/1m or 2.8$/1m to 3$/1m. pls raise the price

    Currently working on a script to kill rock crabs, but I work full time at a desk so programming isn't my #1 concern when I come home. Decided to give you guys a demo of it and let you know someone is working on one. You can follow the progress in this thread for now, I hope to have it released on the SDN along with 2 other scripts I have finished (MTA enchanter and range guilder) very soon, but the mods seem to be very busy. The script runs to a safe zone and logs after 60 minutes.   4. Title is pretty self explanatory. I think threads tend to be closed based on personal opinions which should NOT be why the thread is closed. I do not feel the need to post any real justification because in my eyes at least, it's pretty common sense to why you should not let your biases and opinions effect your judgement on matters such as these. On another smaller note (my original 'suggestion' ties in with this one: If you lock a thread, justify why you have locked it so people do not get the wrong idea; if you care about what the community thinks how you run things then it should also be obvious to why this is important to an extent. I may justify my reasoning later on if I can be bothered and if it is required. Edit: Rofl @ the title. Yeah, I'm p tired etc.

It's my time to announce the 'masterpiece' I've been working on for a few weeks now, It's called Abuse's Nature Runner Long story short: Trades the 91+ runecrafters from clanchat 'iDestin', gives them 25 essence in return for 50 and runs back to the general store to buy more while being fast, efficient and player-like. May also be used with a main level 91 runecrafting account and running bots to greatly boost your XP/Hour and obviously make bank. >NO REQUIREMENTS< Features: Near flaweless: I've tested this script for hours, over 1000 lines of code has been written to assure a near flaweless experience. Having the nature count totalling 30000+, tested on both level 3 accounts and main accounts with various variables that might occur (Crafter logging off, moving, taking a break, getting attacked at the store, random events, ..). Currently the script runs all the way until there are no crafters available and ends up logging off and checking back every X minutes SmartWalk: Custom walking function that is more player-like, fast and most importantly, random, meaning that it will never click the same tiles when walking anywhere.   11. Hello, -Made by me and Rhiel. Since I said I would release a better example of my 'splinewalk' method, I have decided to release it in the form of a script, that uses it. This script has usually always gotten me between 900-1,100 planks /h (Lighter equipment, and higher agility for max planks/h). This script uses a 'tryhard' methodology by turning while running, pre-facing future entities, and conditional sleeping / aborting. It has ran perfectly for many hours at a time, and has gotten my friends thousands of planks, with them saying it's flawless also. It does not have a pretty paint, but instead of basic statistics, since there is honestly no need for a paint, ever. What does it do? Makes planks by withdrawing logs at the east varrock bank, and converts them into planks at the sawmill. Known Bugs (Not big): - Sometimes the camera overturns (Client issue) - Sometimes the planks statistics goes wacky.   17. It's not like gold buyers are mad at the fact that it's 3$/1m. It's not like gold buyers think that 3$/1m is too expensive. The customers will be happy whether it's 3$/1m or 2.75$/1m. That's not the point I was getting across. Prices usually go down if there are no buyers because the price is too high. Is 3$/1m too high? No. The point of this topic was to try to let those feedback farmers know they're singlehandedly killing the gold market.

Regardless, just make post counts not count in Market then. Why do you care of someone spams? Give them a warning. It's pretty easy to see if someone was bumping their shops a bunch of times. Kati should add the bump button that allows you to bump every 24 hours.... Well said.

    EoC is actually pretty amazing. I didn't play it when it came out only because of the feedback and stuff I heard, I simply assumed it was bad. But it's actually pretty good. Why would I not play EoC?
  29. I won't even start correcting the post directly above me, been there and done that too many times with others, yet I'll summarize it for you. This is all based of assumption and research but one part will never be proved as we don't have Jagex their source code, there are two aspects to this entire story: One, The RS server (up to revision 570-570'ish, this doesn't apply in clients with GPI updating and on) handles its players in some form of collection where it loops through to when creating the update package in order. You login and you will receive the first empty spot in the collection, this can be 1'st, this can be 1000'th etc. Being earlier in the collection will get your player's actions processed first, which is believed to possibly create a gain over the other in interaction (in this case, staking) but there has never been hard prove for this. Two, your internet connection. Data over the internet travels with a limited speed, based on overhead in your router, based on overhead in your computer, based on overhead on the link between two connected nodes etc etc. Obviously, if your connection with the RS server is better than your opponent's, chances are that your data will arrive at the server earlier. This still doesn't give an advantage, unless the following happens: the connection from the opponent is that much slower that it arrives at the server end that much later that it gets processed one server tick cycle later (their server ticks at 600ms). In that case, you see a difference between animations, one player being attacking the other a tad bit earlier giving the advantage. The story about IP's, in all honesty and no offence, is completely wrong. Also, PID = player index.
