Isn't there a recall on the air bag piece that has killed like 25 people already? 

X1 looks pretty good. Not much of a crossover guy myself, but I drove an X3 for awhile and was impressed.

Isn't there a recall on the air bag piece that has killed like 25 people already?

There is about to be a HUGE recall affecting every car manufacturer. They are releasing the models and years in a staggered manner so there isn't a clusterfuck of people going to rent cars/ bombarding dealerships. Look it up, some cars have already made the list.
