juic3wrld11 Posted April 13, 2021 Share Posted April 13, 2021 @Czar Hey just bought this, working great so far except one thing mainly: every now and then my bot will stop attacking the npcs it’s supposed to fight. This seems to happen mostly when coming back from the bank, after which it locates the npcs fine, and then it looked like the logger said “attacking npc” or something but it doesn’t attack and just stands there. It only starts attacking the monsters again after I manually log the acc out and the script logs back in (or presumably when it auto logs out after standing too long when I’m not around) but this is a big time waste when this happens. I didn’t capture the logger last time, I’ll try to do it next time it happens but any way you know what could be causing this issue? I don’t have fight bounds set up so idk if that’s an issue at all. also on a separate note how do I set up fight bounds? Couldn’t seem to figure it out. I have my bot in a safe spot for range and i put the settings "priotize safe spot" and "return to safe spot once done attacking" but the bot never goes back to that tile. Is there a way to set it up so the bot knows that the tile i am standing on is the safe spot and it can always return to that after attacking the npc? Czar Posted April 20, 2021 Author Share Posted April 20, 2021 With safespot it's best to use the dedicated hotkey for it (F6), if you're using mac lmk, I think it's fn key for you guys xD After that, the tile should light up green indicating the safespot is set. Also are you using cannon mode? If so then it's best to use the [Fight alongside cannon] if you plan on ranging, or you can just let it stand on the safespot. The fightbox can be used for a couple different things, either to assign an area where you can choose to only fight npcs inside it, or to loot items inside it, or to keep your player standing inside it, either one works. For safespots its best to avoid using a fightbox unless you want to loot items inside it. The [stay inside fightbox] option is good for melee especially. As for the above query, which npc is this if you don't mind my asking. Is it a multi-combat npc, and are there aggressive (other type) npcs who will try to attack you before you get to your actual fighting targets? Lmk! Progressive mode technically it's supported but it requires a lot of configuring. So if we want a nice fluid progression system in place we should ideally have a couple profiles saved and then we can chain them together, so a chicken killer profile, a cow killing profile, hill giants and assign them to cycle at X levels (att, str, def) so 1-20 chickens, 20-30 cows, 30-60 hill giants etc. I gave you a trial but I recommend waiting until we add a better and easier system which is friendly for goldfarmers. I'm working on a way to have all the options for different fight areas/npcs all accessible within a preset tab and then offer a way to make small adjustments to our likings etc. Range progression not yet but we're working on it. No dart upgrading/checking yet but it will definitely be added in the future. It immediately logs itself back in, waits for a few minutes, then logs out again. Client restart did not fix. The fightbox can be used for a couple different things, either to assign an area where you can choose to only fight npcs inside it, or to loot items inside it, or to keep your player standing inside it, either one works. For safespots its best to avoid using a fightbox unless you want to loot items inside it. The [stay inside fightbox] option is good for melee especially. As for the above query, which npc is this if you don't mind my asking. Is it a multi-combat npc, and are there aggressive (other type) npcs who will try to attack you before you get to your actual fighting targets? Lmk! Progressive mode technically it's supported but it requires a lot of configuring. So if we want a nice fluid progression system in place we should ideally have a couple profiles saved and then we can chain them together, so a chicken killer profile, a cow killing profile, hill giants and assign them to cycle at X levels (att, str, def) so 1-20 chickens, 20-30 cows, 30-60 hill giants etc. I gave you a trial but I recommend waiting until we add a better and easier system which is friendly for goldfarmers. I'm working on a way to have all the options for different fight areas/npcs all accessible within a preset tab and then offer a way to make small adjustments to our likings etc. Range progression not yet but we're working on it. No dart upgrading/checking yet but it will definitely be added in the future. We're also working on adding ranged to the progression/task system. Hey so i set up fight bounds and it started working! no more issue with the bot stopping before hitting the NPCs.
