Trail running shoes?

Any of you fuckers do much trail running / hiking / tabbing?

Recently did a long tab in some 511 tactical boots - (see here) and my feet got absolutely destroyed.. (blisters, bruises etc, next time I'll tape up)

Been recommended to get some salomons - (these) Anyone who's out and about on their feet much have any better suggestions?

definetly do not get the salomons you just need to wear in a decent pear or obv you will get blisters but they are better by far

the salomons will wreck very easily specialy if proper hiking not just trail walks

these are what i use have been perfect

I've worn the boots quite a bit before, so they've been worn in so to speak, my feet are just not having any of it! Thing is I want something more lightweight like salomons, but I've been reading reviews, and overall people say they're good, but after regular use, they trash quicker than you'd hope, ehhhh :/

ones I linked are pretty light but honestly if your going to get something like salmons just take a pair of runners and a pair of hikers

Hmm, cheers for your input, going to head into town at the weekend and have a look at some shoes, also some tape for my feet haha, can't be doing with these big ol' blisters, nightmare! :/

if you are getting that many blisters then your shoes/boots are most likely too big/small for you. whether or not you have wide feet can play a major role in the shoes/boots you should be buying. if the shoe/boot doesn't fit proper blisters will be plentiful.

good on you for doing research but don't let yourself be swayed by other people's opinions. what may be right for someone else may not be right for you.

good luck!

Yeah, but in the long run it's not ideal, I need my feet to toughen up.

I once taped up for a 3 day expedition i never took it off, i walked thru flowing currents with my fellow fuckers, I climbed multiple mountains in the wet rainy terrain, I slipped and injured myself on the shitty wet terrain that seemed forever at 70 degrees angle upwards i was like fuck my life, i camped at the mountains ridges and shit I fucked up shit up i dug a hole with a spade to shit in with my fuckers which all shat in the same hole, we had to cook using a shitty kerosene shitty shit in the rain for 11 people we fucked up ********a, 2 nights in the rain man we were soaking my balls were wet, my ass was wet i was cold as fuck the altitude the wind on my ballsack and such, i almost died on the cliff edge, my asshole was wet for an entire day, so was my ballsack, then after 3 days i returned to the homebase and i took the tape off and my feeet were soggy and beutiful, then i didnt have a wwank for 21 sdays
