Itslit Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 I'm looking to run as many bots as a can on a home desktop. Was interested into what you guys use and what you would recommend that is not super expensive. Also how many are you running with your current set up? As well as how much it will cost to get what you recommend. Thank You!
Lacoste Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 (edited) osbot does not use much cpu due to some amazing updates. on my i5 4790 and 8 gb ram i can run 5-7 easy. Edited March 30, 2016 by Lacoste
iJodix Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 Well, Xeon X5650 CPU performs great for it's price, used one around 80$ in ebay or E5 2660 for around 250$ used
Itslit Posted March 30, 2016 Author Posted March 30, 2016 Why not just buy vps's? I heard they weren't worth it and lag quite often. I think it would be better to just have everything completely my own.

Eagle Scripts Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 get a PC with the best, most recent Intel processor and between 8 - 16 gigs of RAM.
Solution Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 Getting some cheap xeons shouldn't be too hard (just look on craigslist), pair that with a nice chunck of ram and you should be golden. GPU isn't going to change fuckall

Rent Money Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 I mean if Linus has taught me anything it is that old Xenon processors are the king of the cake for a bargain!
DeadSwap Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 I am running the newer intel i5 with 32gb ram and I can have 4 clients open with no performance loss at all so definitely the way to go
