Wear items and press "Load Gear", it's very detailed in the first post under "Gear"

Stats required  to run "all" quests:

 

30 Ranged

36 Woodcutting

31 Crafting

18 Slayer

5 Fletching

20 Mining

20 Smithing (you will get 29 from the knights sword so this is not needed) 

21 Firemaking

41 Cooking

10 Fishing

25 Thieving.

cant get it to use preset gear? it always wants to pull out garbage mind runes to do fight quests... how do i change this to use better gear and melee?

The quick start options all have their own predefined gear presets, did you try creating your own gear presets and using them with custom defined quest lists?

i made presets and tried to use the "mithril gloves" option and it just pulls out mind runes to do fight arena? which im pretty sure isnt even needed for mith gloves regardless lol
