My thread being locked for a stupid reason

Apparently because I didn't get people to post on my thread to acknowledge that I have a terms of service myself, my thread got locked, even though 90% of the threads out there do the same thing.

 

I am on multiple website and get multiple contact requests and capes a day and I don't ask where they are from, I ask them to leave feedback and post on the thread in which they found my services.

 

If you're going to lock my thread for that, then I will go ahead and link a few services for you to shut down as well.

This is just for the first 2 pages of services that I briefly looked over. If you're going to shut mine down, then do so the rest, this is crazy. At least my thread has a fucking rotating gif sayin "IMPORTANT: Read the terms of service to know my trade rules!"

Well for one, you changed your TOS without informing a mod, so the verified is void and the thread should be closed and you should receive a warning for doing that.

 

 

Also if a guy in the chat box asks "who does fire capes" you respond "me" How are they automatically agreeing to your tos if they haven't posted here or even knew you had a thread. Use your head...

 

 

This is for your protection just in case someone gets banned and never read your tos and you can't prove they read it because they didn't post on the thread. You will be 100% liable for the refund.

All the threads you linked from the few I read are correct. In order to accept your TOS they need to post on the thread, or other wise we have no record of them actually reading your tos. Therefore YOU are responsible. This thread just makes you look like you can't read.

The fact remains you yourself were in the wrong and you still can't admit it for whatever reason. Which is probably why you took out the rule about the global terms without a mod's permission anyway.

Do I really need to explain to you that I took out the global rule because it is restricted to OSBot only and I cant link it and I don't need it in my terms of service as it is already there and I did nothing wrong with removing it, in fact I did everyone a favour having it there in the first place.

 

I am so sorry that I removed OSBot's terms of service from my terms of service from a GIF that is unable to link the OSBot terms of service that apply even if it isn't in my terms of service and matters not whether it is or is not.

 

According to your post just then,, "The rule is a user must post on the service thread to agree to the user's ToS". So now saying "Have you added my skype" in your order form means that they agree to your ToS? Again you guys need to sort this out.

 

If simply having an order form and saying "Have you added my skype" in it means that they agree to my terms of service then I suppose all my reports are false hey. But as far as I knew saying have you added my skype means, have you added my skype, not I agree to your terms of service. But not my problem, I thought that was just simple english.

 

I figured having in my actual terms of service that if they want me to do a firecape then they agree to my terms of service made more sense then apparently saying they've added my skype means they agree to my terms of service.

 

Yes I was in the wrong as to not ask people to post that they agreed to my terms of service but alas, no one gave a shit.

You could be wrong, you could be right, you could be both. I used to be involved in some of the biggest anti-establishment movements on this forum and I always thought it was such a noble cause and I'd end up on top in the end somehow and I'd have the last laugh. 

 

I can promise you this thread, this argument, this dispute is not worth changing your reputation and the way people see you interact with other people. Every time I did something like this I know I lost the respect of many just because they didn't want to be involved in whatever problems I was going through with whoever.

 

Best thing to do is message whoever in private and see if you can work it out with them and if not there are plenty of good, understanding staff members that can help you. I can guarantee that whoever would have helped you before is less inclined to help you now.

Mate, i don't give a shit about respect of people in the internet that I wont even meet. Fact is I can still do my business anyway, as clearly I just sold an account for 100m with the user going first.

 

The rules of OSBot are not anywhere near clear enough and there are far too many loop holes and misunderstandings and miscommunication for any of the rules to be viable in the first place.

 

A perfect example would be as follows:

 

Someone does a service for someone

2 days later the guy complains that they hacked them and stole their money

Guy who did the service finds out that the guy didn't change his password as per OSBot ToS

Guy who did the service can be disputed and very easily falsely banned

asuna locked mine because i changed the layout so i pmed him and he replied almost instant giving me a "verbal warning" to just report the thread to make sure the t.o.s. of the new layout remained the same as the old one. but instead you just blew it out of proportion for no reason
