Scape GAINZ Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Personal preference really, would you consider adding (or fixing) compatibility for OSBuddy? (it previously worked, I assume it's something to do with their modified hooks?) Like I said, it's just personal preference really in terms of the client which I use. 2
Developer MGI Posted October 25, 2015 Developer Posted October 25, 2015 Might be added in the future, however that is not a priority. 1
Unorthodox Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Only way for me to use mirror client seems to be with Osbuddy client. Would love to see that update ;D 3
Muffins Posted December 25, 2015 Posted December 25, 2015 I don't think it's needed as the osbuddy client uses an absurd amount of resources compared to the official client
Oven Mitts Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Well since this has already been dug up from the grave I'll throw in my 2 cents. I feel like if this was possible it could reduce ban rates for people who are only botting personal accounts. I don't know if Jagex can see when you use the official client vs OSBuddy, but I assume they can. If they see you jump from botting on the official client to the OSBuddy client & back it looks kinda sus. 3
bhuvgy30 Posted November 26, 2016 Posted November 26, 2016 (edited) I am too, dealing with a few issues with the mirror client on my Macbook. Downloading the official Osrs client on mac its pretty patchy work as is. This link below were the steps i took to get a seperate osrs client working. (This is not my video)--- Also used legacy client to patch the "P.list" However it gets worse, although i have a perfectly working client with no mods/injections; mirror mode cannot ("search" ) find another client. My best guess for a solution would be these two options. 1) Find a way for the user to apply the ("Search/Hooks") to a client using a GUI. 2)Allow the mirror client to Patch around the fixed screen issue. (i believe it does not function simply because of the side widgets of osbuddy client) Thanks for the read. P.S. I hope this gets fixed soon, or there is pretty much no point for me to pay for VIP. Hel Posted December 1, 2016 Posted December 1, 2016 (edited) To get mirror mode to work, you simply have to fiddle with the size of the osbuddy window on the vertical axis, I believe it's up one or two pixels. I'll upload a gif of me doing it when I'm home from the doctors Edited December 1, 2016 by viri 1
