Does this run on linux? Looking to setup a minimal OS. Linux would be perfect to maximize resources. Thank you in advance. 

I can confirm that the standard client runs on my Raspberry Pi which uses a variant of Debian. As long as there is a suitable Java runtime environment available for your system then everything should work fine.

i have the jre installed but mirror does not work on debian for me
