Can't run the Mirrorclient on Linux

Featured Replies

Hi, I try and run the OSBot.jar and it works fine but tells me in order to use mirror mode i need to install the mirrorclient.jar. I have downloaded the Mirrorclient.jar and when I run that it says "no main manifest attribute". Am I supposed to put the Mirrorclient.jar in a folder inside the OSBot client? If so, where do i put it?

Cheers.

Just searched a little bit (Should of done before making thread sorry) and I read that Mirrorclient doesn't work on Linux atm, is that true?

You need C++ Libraries implemented for Linux. Mirror is mainly a Windows software, as it need C++ due the limitations of Java when hooking up to another JVM outside the program.

ah, that sucks. Cheers for the reply

Currently only supports Windows and Max OS X ("Mountain Lion +"), where I believe Linux support is coming next. MGI stated here that it will be optimised best for Windows.

It's not even supported on Mac OS X :P

You have to virtualize to get it, in which case it's technically supported on linux too
