I understand this but I'm trying to find out what else they can accept, some people don't use PayPal and prefer skrill

I can imagine it's an easy method for the staff to verify and use - If you are not happy using it, you can always buy vouchers from users for store credit.

People sell it for skrill or just gold?

Due to only able to accept PP for vouchers, you could always ask.

Apparently RsServerGeeks can sell me :)

You can buy vouchers (as mentioned above) for pretty much any form of payment (including skrill/07 gp), and use these vouchers to buy scripts or perks. But if you wish to buy a script directly, you'll need to use paypal.

Last time I checked the IPB only supported paypal and or credit card transactions, there is a software inside the IPB scripts for e commerce it only has two checkout options both going through a paypal development API.
