Aside from Developers/admins/mods etc, these two other status represent huge contributions.

One resembles a significant monetary sacrifice for the benefit of the bot.
The other resembles months of constant work on the forums without any monetary gain in return.

Clearly, both are a big sign of contribution but, which would you say is the more impressive of the two? Or perhaps are they both equal?

It's just something interesting I thought of.
Personally, I am going to side with Ex-Staff, but because I am Ex-Staff my vote doesn't really count.

 But it doesn't matter what your rank is a staff member, but the contribution you've provided yourself as that staff member. With that being said, you can be worthless or priceless and theres some in between.

OT, I find ex staff also more impressive because 500$ donor can everyone become if he/she has the cash
