So as of July 21 2015 paypal will be covering intangible goods.

So I'm on the phone with a friend on mines who works for paypal and were talking about a recent 80$ chargeback that I had with a user who is not banned from OSbot and he tells me that paypal will be covering tangible good now. They will have there own verification system outside of the services verification. Basically what they have now is they protect the seller 100% against service charges basically if the company have all the information of the produce being sold weather it is tracked or digital the company would win the chargeback. As for unauthorized transactions they have a fully loaded system check that they go through as far as recent password changes and IP checks etc. For tangible good such as like downloads and stuff like that paypal does not offer protection right now because there system for verifying downloads and checking other things is not laid out right now so if you purchased a download or anything that can be downloaded and not tracked you would lose the case, but paypal is not going to start protecting against these things to keep fraudulent activity down.

For users who sell downloadable things this is a bad thing for you if you have shitty support and people download your shit and it does not work like enavto marketplace for wordpress themes. If you do not respond to cases in a certain time the case is decided in the buyers favor. The buyer would also need to have substantial evidence that the produce does not work paypal is unraveling a whole team of specialist to check these things.

Basically paypal is updating there systems for the better of everything. I think its good because people who actually run business are having more support to the products that they are selling as well as buyers are getting more protection. Its also good for companies like my company who offer good support because we can win cases just by offering good support and actually getting problems fixed so all these slacking companies better step it up.

Was told the same thing a week ago, nice to finally see a date to it.

Yep I'm happy to see this.

Runescape goods are more than intangible lmao idk about this.

No not really, paypal usually never knows you are selling runescape gold. I simply say I am selling good and services.

I am quite sure that this message contains information you are not authorized to share with us.

Not really it is publicly released its just most people do not care to know what paypal is releasing as long as there money is safe. All you have to do is call them and they will tell you the same thing. If you have a business account they and someone charges you back for something intangible paypal will give you your money back, but close the dispute in the other parties favor while giving them the claim also "that's if you have an account in good business standings".

You need to call them how many chargebacks do you have on your account I have 2 chargebacks, someone charged me back for a server they bought and I charged a company back for a template I bought that was broken but I have also had over 13k go through my account business wise in the last 60 days, so my account is in A+ status as long as you are paying your Paypal fees and taxes paypal should work wonders for you, but if you are doing retarded things then they won't.

the balance was 0 on my acc since i transferred it to my bank acc, then the guy charged it back. i lost the dispute, told them to fuck themselves, they threatened me with some law bullshit, this was a year ago, i havent touched PP since then.

Now a guy here was buying some $, i tried to log in, it wont recognise me, neither will send me anew password, hence i think im banned:D

I need to find a better solution if i want to sell $ again:P

p.s.: i have a single chargeback, only one dickhead and it killed my business:D
