I've heard a few speculations/rumours etc about google chrome getting rid of java as an extension and today I come to play private servers etc through google chrome and it doesn't work.

Personally, I like google chrome as a browser what are the exceptions? What other programmes do we use instead of java?

The rumor is true.  Just down load the desktop clients huh.png

It's true.

Java is no longer supported.

It's definitely true. Sadly, java isn't supported by chrome anymore. :/ Just use downloaded clients.

Yup it's true, just download the official jagex osrs client

Firefox still works

Actually java is still supported ^^

It's just hidden from now on...

But indeed soon enough they won't support it anymore :)

Typ this in adress-bar:

chrome://flags/#enable-npapi

Enable the npapi extension

Have fun playing in chrome again ^^
