Has anyone of you ever been to Louisiana and Oklahoma ?

Between Louisiana and Oklahoma pick the former... Oklahoma doesn't have very much going on at all. It's very much a small town feel. Louisiana is at least in a place where you can road trip to some of the more interesting parts of the United States instead of being stuck in the mid-west. Just my thoughts smile.png

Hey, I am currently doing some research regarding study abroad.


I would love to go to the USA however, the only partner universities are in Oklahoma and Louisiana.


 


Are probably from their ? Louisiana I stayed in Baton Rouge many years studying Agriculture at LSU  


Or have you ever been their ? Lived


 


If so, could you please tell me a bit about regarding


- the city in general: The city is a bit off but the University life is amazing. 


- students life (nightlife, during the day) : Night life just get fucked up sleep it off and study and work.


- criminal rate : A bit high but eh


- and everything else that comes in your mind smile.png: You will enjoy it especially if you are into gymnastics like me they have a wonderful program.


- how warm is it during 1.1 - 1.5: The weather is O'Lord crazy could be sun shine and then rain in a matter of two seconds. New Orleans is not that far away and that city is a blast upon a blast. 


 


All in all I am looking for something exciting, not a boring city!

Move to Oklahoma. The wife and I might be moving back there in a few months for the army lol.

take it from someone who actually lives in oklahoma, it ALL depends on which part, if you move to Oklahoma city, there is LOTS to do, and world of fun attracts alot of attention in that area, the partys are insane, and the temperature is normally on the hotside, but regardless summers here are awesome.
