This is NOT my account, I got it from a forum post on another community that I won't name. The point is don't have the same forum name as username.

Ouch, I never use the same name on a botting community.

The moderator that gave you that ban must get a demote.

Who says that your the same person on that forum?

Lets make an account named Jabberwoky, and then talk about bots and post some good edited screenshots, so the 1# will get banned..

A perfect example why this is a really stupid reason, and is something that wont work.

Thank you for bringing this up to us, this is the proof that you can get banned with using the same names.

Haha never saw that before. But i don't see the relation abotu 2 names? it could be some1 else :D

Im sure he had more evidence than just a matching name. The kid probably posted pictures of his account with the name showing and all that jazz

I've used Maldesto on runescape for over 7 years.. and i've used maldesto on this site + a few others where i was a moderator. They can't ban you based on the username, they banned him clearly for bragging about his botting he was bragging in game.. i've never mentioned bots in game and i'm fine.. The guy who did it was not very intelligent.

Ingame screens of Runescape are easy to fake. There can't be any convincing evidence.

Nah talking about it in game isn't enough either. Using a bot client to play runescape isn't even enough.

I've talked about botting on Rs in 2010-2011, posted on forums back in 2010-2011 that their new update messed up my bot and I'm losing money.

Their bot bans work really weirdly.
