That type of shit is honestly so annoying. I don't care what they say, it just adds to confusion and increases their mod logs.

Now If I want to search something I won't even be able to find it. I have to go through literally all of my threads rather than just my threads in a specific section.

They're helping to clean up the (dead) forum!

If they didn't do their routine clean up, I'd be lost in the forum due to the sheer number of threads and wouldn't know what to do. Thank god they're doing a great job cleaning up!
