You don't necessarily need to eat less. You can eat a fairly large amount as long as its healthy.

Best of luck

I may have told you already, but I used to be 100 pounds overweight and now if you or anyone saw me; you wouldn't be able to tell I was ever overweight. Well, you have seen my skype picture could you seriously tell I used to be 100 pounds over weight?

My advice is pretty simple yet really effective. Dieting doesn't work; all it does is make you crave junk food more, and eventually you may go back to them.

Calories are the main reason people gain weight(unit of energy per serving). Body fat is created due to the excess of calories(energy) being consumed; it has  to go somewhere if it's not used and what it is manifested as is body fat(which is, then  burnt off at a later time when used). Granted calories and junk food are positively correlated but that doesn't mean if you sit with 26 pounds of broccoli and eat it; you won't gain any weight(because there's just enough calories in there to gain an ounce or two, but it's unrealistic anyone could eat that much).

My method is unless you have really severe health risk(like close to a heart attack and what not) you shouldn't completely get rid of unhealthy foods, rather you can still eat them but eat less and incorporate healthier options into your life. Throwing in some sort off exercise helps a lot but can be difficult to get used to at first. When I began my weight loss journey back at the end of 2010 and then got more serious in early 2011, I used to lift these two 20 pound weights nonstop(didn't help gain any muscle, but the movement and lifting helped burn calories). At some point, I liked to create a trigger of sorts that when it happened, id have to get up and lift weights, (Common ones were birds chirping, a battle theme in a video game playing etc). Unfortunately as you get to lower numbers, you have to slowly remove junk food from your diet because weight gets more stubborn near the end, and it just gets harder to work out when you have less strength from the weight loss(probably the only drawback of my 100-pound weight loss was that I used to be kinda strong and now while I am far healthier and super agile I have very weak hands).

That's a pretty good start for now but in the future id be happy to help you out more as I lived through this, I can give you good insight =).

You should consider adding some pictures :)

Even if you're not going to post them here, do it so you can see your progress.

Wish you all the best with this mate, hope you achieve your goals!

Yea that's true. Even 90kg are good if it's muscles..

Good luck, I use stone instead of kg. I used to weigh 17 stone, I'm now 10st 5lbs. Cardio is good but you need to add in weight lifting even if you don't want to gain muscle. I currently do 5 spin classes (2 is enough but I want to start road cycling in the summer) a week and 30-45 minutes of weights 5 days a week, 2 days rest. I also get a new diet plan from my personal trainer every few weeks which is great because if I did one myself, I know I wouldn't stick to it.

Isnt 83kg normal? U could build muscle and burn fat by doing so, or u just wanna shed the fat off? Well, if u re doing only cardio exercises, thsts pretty good, but u also could add some lifting exercises. If u dont plan to do with weights(not going to the gym) then u can do at home: bodyweight exercises, such as pushups, abs etc.

Or at park: bodyweight exercises such as pull ups, u can also use dumbbells/barbells if u have any at home, or buy.

Do ya hit da gym or naw?
