This release was actually their biggest yet. It includes an entirely new language (Swift) support and integrates their Metal API.

It's for developers more than us regular users.

Metal api? Wtf is that? I've seen metal on some apps but thought they meant the music. :|

Fits nicely into your hand? Wtf are you 6'10

6'3.5. :D

It actually helps out users just as much as developers because in the coming months you'll notice a substantial increase in game performance.

Yeah, hopefully. I meant more like at the moment there's no big difference.

I know a lot of people who didn't upgrade saying iOS 8 is the worst update and they're noy wasting their time.

I just lol.

Ah, Swift wasn't in the beta, so I wasn't aware of it at the time of my post.

I'm gonna update my 5s soon. :)

I do want the new 6plus pls

Same here. Verizon won't have it for a month or two though so ggwp me. :(

Oh, maybe I just disabled that shit right when I got the beta then lol.

You can't just disable API libraries...

Swift is their new programming language, not some app or user utility. You won't even notice unless you're dealing with the code :p
