God damn i miss the guy, i wasnt here at the moment at which he scammed or done whatever he did, but the guy was a nice, down to heart guy. Mald pls furgive fulixus and let him return to his former glory, not as a mod but just like to wonder within the depths of the forums and mordor

Afaik, he scammed on his way out, and admitted to scamming to Maldesto, I don't see why letting scammers into the community would bring any good.

+1 to this. Need as much trust in here as possible.

I'm a big believer in second chances (hence why I'm here), but scam quitting just isn't cool.

Apparently, this was his attempt to "get out of power".

Well, asking for a complete demote&ban would've been easier. Cleaner. He made a mistake. He did scam. He deserves the ban.

If he really wanted just to "get banned", he could've also scammed 10-100k gp (=30 cents) instead of (if I remember correctly) 20m (=60 dollars).

By your logic, "if someone refunds he should get unbanned", people would scam massively, and only refund those who would make a report (not everyone makes a report when scammed). This way always scamming and always coming back (and profiting). Actually, I know of a forum where this thing was of a common practise for a long time.
