so... well just curious as too why this was allowed.

I don't even understand what the investments are being used for cos in essence it's just another "AT Bundle" but hey, not one to judge.

1. testing a 'multi account' script would require multi accounts.

2. he would need money to get all these accounts

3. his 'testing' would require him to mass gold farm temp

4. he would pay back the people they gave him money

5. this script is against the rules.

Still doesn't make sense to ask for money, use your own if you believe in it that much :/

I did talk to both Alek and Maldesto before even starting full development on the script. And if anyone has anything against the investment thing, it's not your money you got no right to tell anyone how they should spend it.

The people investing don't have anything to lose as even in my tos I stated I gave they have permission to a full refund after the 20th.

based on his price and community reaction i expect

them for some magical totally non money based reason

too 'bend the rules' this once.

^

I have nothing against the investment scheme, although if they let you do it they have no grounds to stop us from

breaking the rules, either enforce them all or dont have them, excpetions to rules are aimless, only given when the

people who set them have something to gain. just more signs of the 'subtle' greed around here.

I can see three out comes to this.

do you see me telling people not to invest? ... no? ... good.

Like I said, got nothing against you at all but that doesn't mean I have to agree with it. Good luck all the same though

The ban script thing will be redone soon. We are working on fixes, we will be changing it from banned scripts to life time scripts. We won't allow people to release lifetime scripts like that, they will be monthly or have to be made for free scripts. The system isn't 100% done yet, we are working on fix. Alek at the end of the day makes the final decision.

Could you please elaborate on "Lifetime script" ? not quite understanding the idea here.

He means you cannot release a script that can impact runescape in a large way and sell it for one time fee of $10. If I understand correct the whole point of SDN prem rules is to keep balance with the price and script capabilities.

@Isolate

Now you are calling it a scheme? You understand investors got nothing to lose. Even in their paypal notes it says the refund condition, making sure they would win any charge back claim if it were to reach that case. They are simply helping kickstart the project to release stage.

Osbot 2 brings new opportunities if they chose to alter rules that's their decision to make.
