I stoppef MMing free a while ago. Ive had people take 30mins to do a trade on me and wasted my time.

That makes no sense you have to be VMM to charge for it lol anyone can charge to MM but depending on their feedback they might or not be used.

VMM only shows that you're more trusted and etc

That is your fault for wasting 30 mins, you need to have them be ready before even joining the conversation. That is where you make your mistake. MM trades should take 10 minutes max.

They added my skype it is not my responsibility to have them ready and is not my fault if they take 20mins to sell/exchange an account. Ive had some MMs take 5 minutes to do.... if someone else takes forever that isnt my fault.

None the less a service is being provided when someone MM's and if someone wants to charge for it they should be allowed.

bro you only need 250 fb and 50 mm feedback, just get it quick n easy.

I dont like getting my time wasted by kids who take forever to do a trade. When I sell gp or buy an account/lvl3 to anyone it literally takes less than 5 minutes. I literally sold Mald some gp in the past and the trade took literally 1-2mins to do...

Also like I said providing a service I am allowed to charge for it.

Has some flaws in it but sounds good.

So out of all the comments here all i've seen is:

There are flaws in it

This will be possible but has to get further planned on how/what the requirements will be/what the pip does etc.

Yea none of that helps. Nobody has done any thinking at all. I've clearly stated we need your help and you just stating that it needs to be further planned helps 0% as this is why we are posting..

I agree with everything I just read, especially that fact that post-counts will not be used to represent trust anymore.  This is quite a lot of PIPs tho.

I think the MM pip should be based on overall feedback, after X amount of feedback is reached ( transaction feedback) your MM pip will be enabled.

Now for the account selling PIP, maybe this one can be granted to members with a feedback of over X amount (overall feedback), cannot be in current dispute.  The member must present their first topic thread to the super mod they are asking to get the PIP from so they can ensure the member is using the correct format.  When the selling first gets the account selling PIP, its not really a PIP it just enables them the ability to sell an account.  After selling X amount of accounts, you will be a verified account selling (as long as all trades went smooth.  No recoveries of course)... From here after X amt is reached you will be able to open up a shop.

Currency PIP - Self explanatory how to get this one.

Just a random thought, maybe we can update the feedback system, where you need to input who went first.  This will help differ between which feedback implied the member is trust worthy.  Usually when people first start on OSbot and have no feedback there not going first anyways... But it still does build trust knowing that they atleast won't chargeback on PP i suppose.

I'm completely lost about where to begin on the services PIP, and does this mean that employees of others need these PIPs to perform services for the company?

Hopefully our previous feedback can be used to get these PIPs right away biggrin.png

I agree, if you wanna charge for this service then why the heck not? If you can't charge for it, you shouldn't be allowed to do it in the first place right?

Don't like it, I don't even like the verified pips, especially because when people have them they are "auto trusted" apparently in their eyes and a lot of others eyes. Which takes away from the "should i trust this guy" Especially if the pip requirements are low.

I would say up all the verified transactor to 200 feedback, because there is a lot of members in this community. 100 feedback is not a challenge.

So basically people that just joined won't be able to do services etc. since they won't have any previous fb/transactions done so therefore csnt get a pip and won't be able to start a service

No. Did you read the topic?

"

Those without Pips:

People without market pips can still participate in the market and purchase items, however you may not sell items or start a shop.

You need a certain feedback based around the certain pip to get the Pip that you want

Example:

Has 10 Positive feedback on sold accounts, enables Account Pip."

Honestly if you are actually thinking of making a new kind of system for marketing i would simply suggest people can buy sell accounts if they have joined forums for a month and have 150 post counts and at least 5 positive feedback.

As for trading with trusted people is concerned you guys are admins can browser through the middleman section and ask about 10-15 people who you seem are trusted and ask the if they would keep middleman trades from anyone off osbot. You guys can create a separate thumbnail post that shows the trusted people you have chosen to do middleman trades.

Btw i don't get what are pip's

I sort of disagree with this because I see a major flaw. I personally have NEVER bought anything RS related and I know that there are quite a lot of people like me. However, I sell up to 20M a day. I do not wish to waste money to build up 10 feedback or however much is needed so I can sell my GP. My goal is to sell and make money, not to buy 10 feedback and then be able to sell GP. I think anyone should be allowed to conduct trades the way it is currently allowed right now. However after a certain amount of feedback in a given section(Hopefully not a small amount), they can get pips proving that they are trusted in that section. If it was not for the starting up thing, I would support this system 100% but think about this: If I understood you concept correctly, at the start everyone is allowed to buy; not sell. How does one build feedback if nobody is allowed to sell?

The way it is right now, the people that are dominating feedback are getting many trades, but also giving a lot of feedback away to others. If one sells/buys to these "giants" continuously they will in turn get enough feedback to be trusted and start their own shops and services and the cycle continues.

Also, one more flaw I noticed: What about the 1 time sellers; the people who are quitting and just want to dump their 1 account and move on? Are they forced to buy until they get enough feedback to be able to sell their accounts? This sounds like total non-sense.

I also agree with this:  "I think the MM pip should be based on overall feedback, after X amount of feedback is reached ( transaction feedback) your MM pip will be enabled." However to add on to that, you should have to request it; not everyone wants to be a middleman and not everyone will want random PM's because of the tag.

I can see you spent a long time thinking about this so gj for that. But in my opinion it's a terrible idea, locking the market off to a huge majority of users is stupid.

Having people jump through all these holes, earning all these different types of feedbacks for different types of trades is again, stupid.

What makes the market appealing/keeps it thriving is the fact that there aren't any requirements, and that you can trade freely. If this type of regulation was introduce it will kill the market.

99% of people that get scammed are at their own fault. They either don't use their common sense (thinks the guy buying gp $4/m is legit), or they didn't use trusted a MM.

There is no reason for a whole new system to be implemented because a small percentage of people are incapable of conducting trades safely
