New Site Layout?

Featured Replies

When will the homepage of OSBot get that makeover/new format that was suppose to happen like 1-2 months ago??? Was a winner picked? I know it was between Moonglare and Reflex I think or something. How long until the new layout is added?

We'll have to wait a few more years.

Why?

Because we haven't got it yet.......

We've got the themes but not the layout....

Does this even matter O_o

Yes..... The layout is boring....

Neither were picked, they both refused to follow the necessary steps to get the website fully coded. Reflex has it 85% done and quit, moonglare was no where near that.

So to answer your question it won't be updated until someone gives us a fully coded one. I know Alek was working on one, but i think he stopped due to time constraints.

Thanks for clearing it up man!!! I was really confused as to what was going on with it all and what not :)

I knew that would happen. They gave us a single image and then put invisible rectangles around the buttons. Essentially this left us with a static image that can't account for multiple resolutions, that had poor interaction, no possibility of future modification, and terrible SEO.

Thank you for letting me know what happened man! Lots of people were left in the dark on what happened and what not :)

What we are ?

Over the years of developing websites for clients, I’ve learned that the age-old adage, “If you want it done right, you gotta do it yourself,” can be a two-way street.

Of course, there are companies out there that have great web writers internally, but most don’t. And the thought of a company turning a great website strategy (that we slaved over) into an ineffective “brochure site” gives me heartburn. But sometimes you have to pick your battles
Is it about the website or the forum or both?

If the website is Drupal I can help :)
