Ads on the bot.

G'day!

Alright'o, well I acknowledge that this is a free bot and all, I understand that profit needs to be made and the bot's resorted to advertisements on the client to get the money rolling in, although this may come off quite annoying in my opinion.

I don't really mind when I'm botting and the advertisement's just there, but when I'm actually not AFK playing legitly, it gets quite hesitating when you close the add 30 seconds later another one pops up, especially since it's the same advertisement popping up.

Now I'm not saying remove the advertisement, as that's not the point. I'd appreciate if you could extend the timer to 30 minute intervals or an hour interval, in my opinion the current timer on is not long enough.

Thank you for reading over my suggestion, I'd hope you can make changes but overall I'm really enjoying the bot currently.

Thank you OSBot Staff.

Nice exaggeration on the 30 second intervals; the ads pop up I think on every 9th and 10th minute of run-time. If you are playing legit then just hop onto a different browser or the RS 07 client which can be downloaded on runescape.com.

This bot client is running really well the last thing I would do is complain about ad frequencies when you are supposed to be using it to AFK train. K.

If ad's bother you to much I would suggest buying VIP or maybe even Sponsor. Since you are completely afk while botting it doesn't matter what the timer is on and the ad's do not affect your character botting whatsoever. The developers need as much money as they can get so I am going to have to not agree with this sorry.

100% agree with this, if you are bothered by them. Purchase vip/sponsor. This is an easy fix.

I'm not completely bothered by this, I'd just assume that you only get paid once per advertisement on each IP, so I really don't see a point in such short intervals.

Not everybody has money

The developer should offer a free VIP option for those without money via a CPA platform such as https://www.cpalead.com/

I'd imagine a lot more of the teenagers (or people who are just low on cash) who use this bot would be inclined to spend 5 minutes working for VIP than spending $5.

If they needed any help implementing a content locking system just PM me.

We've thought about this. Laz and I have decided that the ads will be displayed while there is a script running (and not while there is no script running). That way, if you want to, you can still play using the bot client. But, if you want to run a script, the advertisements will return at the same interval. We believe that this is an acceptable solution for all parties involved.

Thank you Zack soo much, I hate the ads and wish I was still mod (no ads popup) when I'm trying to script the randoms pop up every 1-10 minutes which irritates me alot.

Put the ads on the forum or homepage. On the bot they serve no purpose other than to piss me off because they get in the way when checking proggies. I'm not going to reward someone for putting ads up by buying VIP from them either.

Regardless VIP has advantages other then ads such as VIP scripts once the repository is up, more then one tab could be opened, and free can only open one, VIP has no advertisements, because they're supporting OSBot, advertisements supports OSBot with the bills.

Can't even run 2 bots. This is shit. I'm not a dumbass 13 year old complaning here. It's common since to make sure your consumers are happy, and 1 bot + loads of advertisements aren't making me happy enough to give out my own cash.
