Is it possible to get paid without paypal for scripting?

Featured Replies

Is it possible to get paid without paypal for scripting? I currently live in a place where paypal doesn't allow for "peer-to-peer" transactions and would want to know if it is possible for me to get paid and if not to not bother making scripts.

you could try cryptocurrency, but youd probably  have to exchange it into your preffered currency through some method, so you could use something like skrill,  or you could use something liek SEPA is you live there

Well what i wanted to ask is if OSbot will pay me if I for example use skrill?

I'm not sure how it works, but before you even get paid....... getting scripter rank alone will take a long time, so if you're thinking of making scripts for profit, might be faster to find an extra job while you wait.

Moving on from that, when you do get paid, you will have to declare it as income in your home country. This won't be a usual 'peer-to-peer' transaction, but rather an actual pay out afaik

OSBot won't pay you in anything except PayPal. With that being said the minimum requirements to sell private scripts are Scripter I status (which requires one free script on the SDN) so there is an alternative way to make an income from scripting with the same prerequisites.

The only difference is you work on a per-contract basis. That's where things might get tricky for you. If you're already deciding whether or not scripting is "worth it" based on the amount of income you're going to make then you've failed. If you're capable of writing scripts you may as well focus your time and energy elsewhere on more profitable ventures or get a real life job.

OSBot can provide a good side income, but typically only if you know what you're doing and how to utilize your skills.
