9/11

Featured Replies

It's that day again. The day when so many lost their lives because of a couple horrible, ignorant people. Today isn't just a day to mourn all who were tragically lost... It is also a day to be proud of how brave New York's police, fire, and EMS squads were... When everyone was running from the buildings they were running into them.. The same goes for the pentagon and even that field in Pennsylvania.. The bravery that these first responders showed can't be explained in words...
RIP to not only all the victims of 911, but also the 343 firefighters who gave everything to rescue the innocent.

To those who whatever reason feel necessary to troll you can fuck right off. I don't care where you're from. and even I'm not a huge memorial person and nor am I old enough to truly remember this day, but I still respect it.

I cried like a little bitch last time I watched a 9/11 documentary, nothing to fuck around with, serious day.

My teachers dad died in the 9/11 thing I'm in class right now though watching a documentary about it.

they should get over it.

In the eastern countrys thousands ppl die every single day.

And 9/11 was horrible dont miss understand me, but get over it!

Its nothing compared what happens in other country's but there is to much whine attention to it, to feed the americans and make them more afraid of terrorist attacks..

Why should we forget it? Have you ever heard the term "History tends to repeat itself"? Part of the patriotism of being an American is that we care about each other and don't forget about each other. I don't understand how people can come to America and not care, but expect us to care about their countries and help their country. I think it's quite selfish.

By all means I'm not an inconsiderate prick (and I don't even know if there are many) that is completely oblivious to the thousands upon thousands of people that die globally every day. While it was 12 years ago it's not like we all sit there and say nothing all day. I just had a normal day at school and while there was a less than 30 second moment of silence in the morning it was all fine. I think you're misunderstanding what the day is, your perception from my point of view is that the previous 10 9/11's were parralel to the first two (after 2001 so 2002-2003). We've "gotten over it" so to speak but we still respect those affected and mourn the dead.

It's nothing worth fighting over on a fucking RuneScape botting site but we're not like all little bitches sitting in a corner hoping another terrorist attack doesn't happen. Because there will be more attacks.

Know what is selfish?

America starting countless wars, and that countless other country's need to hold their hands and help them.

and when they are done, they expect that the united nations will stay and protect afghanistan.

The netherland soldiers stayed in Afghanistan for 8 years, after america left.

to keep order.

That is selfish.

Most american are selfish, so dont tell me something difrend.

Indeed it was a very tragic day, very tragic and horrible indeed. But things like this have to happen. Its just a part of life. A lot of you guys will probably think I'm a douche now but its true, it has to happen. You know what 9/11 did? It probably improved airport security by 75%, and improved all security. After all, we are animals, just smarter, and these type of things happen.

I'm not an american and I was only 6 at the time of this, but R.I.P to them all, and big up the fire fighters that braved it and went in there!

RIP <3
