I just think Obama is trying to "invade" Syria because he said something like "Syria should not use Chemical Weapons... blah blah blah..."

And he wants to not "break" his promise because if he lets Syria get away with it some other country might use Chemical Weapons.

And for some reason the U.S. has to be the International Police or something l0l...  

Because its not the UN's job or something...

Honestly in my opinion, the US is a great country with great diverse population, but our dam government uses the foundations of its principles as an excuse to abuse power, US is and has been trying to westernize the middle east, especially in the last 10 years, every chance they get somehow the US gets involved in the middle east its so sketchy, people don't want their family's constantly going back an fourth overseas to serve a pointless service..  besides they keep saying they have videos and pictures and proof of chemical attack with short little clips of what happened, I may be wrong but I have yet to see real written proof of who did it...  

 

if their was a chemical attack in oklahoma, why the fuck would russia or syria intervene for example... just pointless.

 

Shit even the Pope spoke about the situation and said it should be handled with peace, not more violence.

I think you're confusing Obama with President George Bush who started a war with Iraq and Afghanistan all in one term. Obama is faced with his second possible war (if you count the whole Korea mishap as almost coming to war.) in his term. I do think the video shows the nerve gas being deployed on the children as they are all stiff with almost no blood loss or significant wounds shown in the video. This could be a great act by the Syrian rebels however. 

 

At this point in time Obama has unfortunately said too much and that is why he must now take action otherwise the US will look weak by basically talking shit and not backing up. - Citizen of the United Kingdom.

Obama, and the American nation would be fools to enter Syria. For starters, it is not their problem. Who intervened in the American civil war which was ten times as bad as Syria, nobody. Do you want to know why? Because it is nobodies problem but the American's. The only reason military action would be justified on Syria is if they started to gas other nations, and not their own civilians. All of that is irrelevant anyways because the big problem is Vladimir Putin. Syria is one of the largest buyers of Russian exports, and Russia also has a major naval base in Syria. Putin will not tolerate an attack from the United States or anybody else, and if Obama is naive enough to enter Syria uninvited, there will be a war, mark my words, and that is not good for anybody, and a hell of alot worse then the Syrian people killing each other.

I think that more proof is needed, not just intel reports that are classified.. Perhaps wait for the U.N. investigators?

The US shouldn't get involved, we will get too overwhelmed, our biggest ally, Great Britain already said they were staying out of this..

I personally think nothing should be done, this is their business and does not affect us, so let's not interfere, we have no rights. Once it starts moving into other countries, then something should be done.
