Just got the client and downloaded an agility script, had it run at seers for about an hour last night, and when I check the account this morning it's banned for two days.  Did I miss a step in botting safely, and has anything changed significantly from two or so years ago I should be aware of?  Or was I just incredibly unlucky?  Also, should i bother trying to bot on that account again or will it just be flagged immediately now?

Seers agility is a ban magnet.

Don't bot agility expecting not to be banned 

agility is a very very high ban rate

seers is the worst course to bot.

Fun fact, same thing happened to me. Botted even less than 1 hour at Varrock Rooftop. Just from 33-35 for quests, got me banned this morning.

Used team cape's agility.  I just wanted to get from 66-70, cause holy shit fuck agility.  I mean, I was basically alone the entire time too.  Ah well, thanks for info.  Can I ever bot on that account again?

you technically could, but you'd have an even higher ban rate with an active 2 day infraction (which will only expire in a year). i'd recommend not to bot on that account again if you care about it
