imo i think it's less intimate. I think about when a teacher/professor says pick a partner, you're only together for a certain period of time.

imo its all the same shit...spouse, partner. until you are engaged or married its something you just answer however you like.

I’m pretty sure it’s this. No other reason for the huge difference in percentage.
