Took the past 2 years in HS learning basics of Java and can understand it decently however it's not what I want to invest time into.

Wondering where if anyone has good suggestions to learn c++ and how to have hands on application practice, thanks

Stuff to learn:

-Pointers
-Pass by reference vs pass by value
-Creating objects on the heap
-Creating objects on the stack
-Creating containers of pointers to avoid object slicing*
