How did people RWT when the trade limit was around?

either someone would go on your account to farm gold, or junk was used 

Junk items. As in items that were like 100 times their GE value and would NEVER sell for that but you could still put it up in trade and get its full value. No idea why jagex never fixed that if they went as far as removing the wilderness and free trade to get rid of RWT lol.
