But why should I care about another country's national anthem? I don't even care about my own country's national anthem..

Hah! It's still a shame. The funniest and most ironic part about that is that they came here, committed genocide, stole their lands then made laws about how stealing and the destruction of property is punishable.

Crazy shit. I guess you can do that type of stuff when you have guns and the other person has nothing but bows and spears.

That's the way it goes. Caucasian americans always have an immigrant background and still have the guts to defend something like Trump's wall to stop other immigrants. Human greed man, it's going to be the downfall for this entire race #Istudysociologybtw

You are aware of the difference of illegal and legal immigration, correct?. . .and the difference in contrast of governing bodies and the lack thereof?. . .I despise Trump, but attempting to compare different phases of American immigration (New World Discovery/Encounter, the Irish, Italians, etc.) to illegally entering a world superpower in 2018 is beyond historically ignorant.

I understand the point you're making. What I'm trying to say is that I think it's in a way hypocrital to refuse immigrants into a country that was build by immigrants. Would you say the genocide of the American Indian people was 'legal'? Or would you say it is ethically correct that you now have locked away the left over of those people in reservations?

Please don't get me wrong. I'm not shaming the USA in any way, it's just this specific point on immigration that I don't get.

That's the irony of it. This country was built upon the genocide of one people and centuries of slaver of another people and now we're locking people out of this country. This ideology of this is just beyond me.

I know you're not, you're fine! I mean, practically every superpower in the history of the human race has some sort of dark genocidal history. But that's irrelevant to the point you're making so I dunno why I'm mentioning that. Illegal immigration into an established is not the same in any regards to immigration into a non-governed body of land. As for the last part, of course it's not ethical! But that doesn't discredit my point in the least --- it's not hypocritical because they aren't the same thing :)

I would disagree, why was the look took not established? Was it non-governed? It wasn't governed in the way Western people would like to see it, but that doesn't make it non-governed. If the land is populated by people who don't share the democratical and capitalistic ideology, it's still governed.
