How to know of proxy is working?

Featured Replies

Maybe a silly question but is there anyway I can check my own IP ingame through the client or something so I know the proxy is active and I'm not logged into RS from my home IP? The IP of the proxy does show in the top of OSBot window, does that mean it's active? Sorry for pleb question I'm still new to proxies.

If you enabled the proxy and your proxy isn't working, it wouldn't start up the client and show an error.

what he said. I believe you can even check it through the Logger.

Yes, if it shows like this it is active proxon.png.65f87b47f50897a473cac89bcd7b45aa.png

if you misconfigure your proxy it will show error like this proxoff.png.275654acff4ff4e0c46fee11aa578258.png

To make sure, try logging in on a proxied session with one of your main RS accounts that has 2FA, if it asks for authenticator key you can be sure it is operational and in effect

um if that is indeed your pictures / proxies I would suggest editing and blurring out the IPs
