Theorems Posted January 25, 2018 Posted January 25, 2018 how much profit do you make daily (profit as in minus cost of electricity and internet etc)?

border22 Posted January 25, 2018 Posted January 25, 2018 I looked into this and found you would make more money botting on OSRS and selling the gp. As the electricity cost ate up most of the profits.
Darren Posted January 25, 2018 Posted January 25, 2018 I was considering it last year then I thought nty
Juggles Posted January 25, 2018 Posted January 25, 2018 People still crypto mine in 2018? That was so 2014
griffpage Posted January 25, 2018 Posted January 25, 2018 Wow very nice set up! I have the basic questions, what are you mining? How is the noise? Does your profit offset the electricity usage/are you keeping what you mine or selling? Also for tax purposes could you claim crypto mining as a business and write off some of those electricity bills? Interesting thought.

Depends where you are I guess and if you did that then you also would have to pay tax on the profit you make. I know in Aus if you make under 20k a year from it, it can be classed as a hobby and you don't have to pay tax, I'd chat to someone and see if it's worth it.
