Can i hire a worker, and only be liable for a specified amount that i make clear in my thread?

Example: I hire a worker, my thread states that that worker is only to be trusted with orders under 2mil.

Worker scams 10mil from a customer. Will i be responsible for covering the 2m that i stated, or the whole 10m

depends on what the conditions you make with the workers and the tos you have.

I know from my services on other sites, if they scam lets say 8M they only get 5M back because thats what the fee is.

Same as Chief said, I believe your liable for the full refund if he's a worker of yours and scams.

Just hire people you really do trust, and make them pay a fairly high insurance.

Also, with services over a certain price I'd do them myself, and leave the smaller ones to the employees.

In my opinion, if he's working for you and scams, you're liable for the full refund.

What if my terms of service AND my thread clearly state that the workers should only be trusted with a certain amount, and trusting them with more is at the customers risk. I cant accept liability for only the amount specified or what?

If the customer trades a worker more than i've said is safe, then they broke my T.O.S. and shouldnt be entitled to a refund more than my T.O.S. covers right?

Aslong as you state in your ToS that you do not give refunds in anyway shape or form, if any of your employees scam, your not at all responsible for anything when employees have your account.

Also, add the fact if your scammed by an imposter you are not responsible and will not offer any type of refund.

I think being scammed by an imposter isnt my responsbility in any way lol.

Its their fault for being a dumbass if an imposter scams them :x

technically its your fault for hiring a scammer so you should replenish the person who got scammed!

It doesnt matter who a person hires, you can never completely know their intentions. Wouldn't it be the customers fault for trusting a worker with more than i advised >.> and intentionally going against my terms of service by trusting a worker with a large amount

^^ If the customer went against your ToS, then yes. It would be there fault, but if they're within the ToS and get scammed, like I said previously a long with Master Chief, you should be reliable for the full refund, IMO.

No. You're not responsible for the additional 8M. I say this because a certain someone on this forum scammed me for 5M and delayed + failed to provide the service he was paid for to do and blamed it on his 'worker' and got away with it. So, unless that was bias, you're good to go (he's friends with several ranks, I might add).
