Client won't run after avast (anti-virus) update?!

Featured Replies

I got avast anti virus and it was broken because i couldn't update it so i had to unistall it and reinstall and i got the latest version doing that, so i ran a virus scan and deleted a bunch of crap and now the client won't run! in the coding of the bottom of the client, after it says injecting client it gets stuck at "downloading client" and then it says "failed to download client" I tried re-downloading osbot but the file only downloads like 100 kb and then it fails saying " Failed - Network error " I tried disabling avast and then doing it but it does the exact same thing. I tried chrome and firefox and it does same thing for both. I even tried downloading it at 3:30 am when the internet is the best and it still didn't work. i need help

Don't use avast, avast is the worst.

If you have windows, just use microsoft security essentials.

Then what is good

although avast isn't that bad, it's a little over-protective, which can get quite anoying

if you really want to keep using avast you can always google "how to add an exception to avast!" should do the trick ;)

Your anti-virus itself might be blocking OSBot somehow. Try going through its settings looking for a list of blocked programs.

You could also turn the avast! shields off permanently to allow you to sign in to the bot then turn them back on after you've set up your bot smile.png

http://www.malwarebytes.org/

and don't be fooled if you get the premium version it is an active antivirus and will keep out all malware.

i got malwarebytes too and i can't make an exception with avast

If you've malwarebytes then you're good.

You should remove Avast completely.
