Yeah I can use cheaper gear but since I only do magic I'd rather have sweet gear and mad effective. Of course there's a risk with it but that I am aware of. It only skips the blue phase if it can, the other two phases are easy with magic. Good thing about blue phase is that it changes phase if you don't attack it quite quickly.
