What programs do you use to design websites? I design the website, then someone else codes it yes. However I know the basics of HTML5/Css3. So I aim to be good enough soon to be able to code them. The programs I use are Adobe Experience Design to create wireframes and put the site together. Adobe Illustrator to do illustrations and icons. Aftereffects to do animation. Can you tell when you visit websites which ones were created by real designers and which ones were just created by the programmers themselves without previous design knowledge? 1

I don't recall landing on any website recently that was just created by the programmer alone without design knowledge tbh. I can't remember. Also can you define 'real designers'? Yea I meant someone with a university tittle, and by a website without design knowledge, I mean could anyone actually design a simple website?

Yeah man anyone can, going to design school isn't exactly necessary, but very helpful as you'll be working with other design students and teachers would guide you on critical thinking and how you should see things. You'll have a sharper eye and expand on your creativity. Design school is also a very collaborative and a social environment. So I'm quite happy. These days getting far would be difficult without a degree, majority of design jobs and opportunities are asking for a degree in Graphics or a relevant subject is a requirement. I know i'm saying allot, but I wanted to give you a good reply. 1
