I had a bot live for a month and a half and not get banned, probably would have gone on for even longer except I was also suiciding on the same IP and it got chain banned. After that I decided that, for me, it wasn't worth trying to keep them alive and now I only suicide but I can tell you that it is possible to bot without getting banned, at least for awhile.

 

I won't tell you how I did it but I will give you some advice.

 

Let's say you were Jagex and people were botting your game and you wanted to catch them. What would you look for? Don't do those things.
