That would be due to the billions of GP taken out of the game after the Christmas period when the bans went rampant. Raids just helped it a little bit. Its the only gold sink possible like rs3 has drygore that goes "broken" after 3-4 hours of combat. Gold sinks have to come or the prices will go crazy.
