Am updating these as I script the quests. Wasn't sure whether to put this here or in snippets so move it if it's in the wrong place pls.

 

Tutorial Island

There are plenty of good Tutorial Island scripts out there which you should use, but if you insist on making your own, I made a list of all the config values and tasks required to move to the next stage.

[281: 0] Make character, Talk to 'Runescape Guide' (w/ options = "I am an experienced player.")
[281: 3] Click settings
[281: 7] Talk to 'Runescape Guide'
[281: 10] Open door (id: 9398)
[281: 20] Walk to (3102, 3099), Talk to 'Survival Expert'
[281: 30] Open inventory
[281: 40] Cut down tree

[281: 470] Open Gate (id: 9719||9720), walk to (3107, 9510), Talk to "Combat Instructor"
[281: 480] Equip bronze arrow and shortbow, attack "Giant Rat")
[281: 490] Wait for "Giant rat" to die

Sheep Shearer

[179: 0] Talk to "Farmer Fred" (3189, 3274, 0) w/ options -> "I'm looking for a quest.", "Yes okay. I can do that.", "Of course!", "I'm something of an expert actually".
[179: 1] Take "Shears" from Fred's table, walk to (3199, 3270, 0), Shear 20 Sheep (Good lord don't attack the rams. Also, normal sheep have description "White and fluffy.", the penguin sheep has the description "A Sheep?"), walk to (3210, 3214, 1), Spin "Spinning wheel", Make X "Ball of Wool (Wool)", 28, walk to (3189, 3274, 0), talk to "Farmer Fred" w/ options -> "I'm back!"
[179: 20 & 21] Idk what this is, it flicks form 20 to 21 almost instantly when you finish the dialogue. 

 

 

Cook's Assistant

[29: 0] Talk to "Cook" in Lumbridge Castle (3120, 3215, 0) (w/ options)
[29: 1] Take the pot from table in Cook's room, bucket from down the ladder from Cook's room, walk to (3160, 3296, 0), pick "Wheat", walk to (3165, 3306, 2), use "Grain" on "Hopper", Operate "Hopper Controls", Empty "Flour bin", walk to (3253, 3275), Milk "Dairy cow", walk to (3229, 3299, 0), take "Egg", walk to (3120, 3215, 0), talk to "Cook" (w/o options).
[29: 2] u dun. 

 

 

Romeo and Juliet

[144: 0] Walk to (3158, 3425, 1), talk to "Juliet" w/ options -> "I guess I could look for him for you."
[144: 20] Walk to (3213, 3423, 0), talk to "Romeo"
[144: 30] Walk to (3255, 3481, 0), talk to "Father Lawrence" 
[144: 40] Walk to (3195, 3404, 0), talk to "Apothecary" w/ options -> "Ok, thanks."
[144: 50] Walk to (3271, 3369, 0), Pick-from "Cadava bush", walk to (3195, 3404, 0), talk to "Apothecary" (You have cadava potion now), walk to (3158, 3425, 1), talk to "Juliet", big cutscene until 144: 60.
[144: 60] Walk to (3213, 3423, 0), talk to "Romeo", keep clicking continue until 144:100.
[144: 100] You done fam.

So how would one use these configs to complete the tasks, is it something like:

 

get current config, return a value based on that config and then have a case for each of those values that does the tasks required to get to the next config?

 

I wont go too far into how to implement it. Essentially, check config, perform some action(s) to transfer it to another config value.
