A 1 defense pure. How to make one. [Progress]

Hello my name is Carlo and I am kinda new to the Runescape botting community. But that is not what u came here for so lets start with the guide!

First of all there are a few quests that u want to do for your 1 defense pure because it unlocks certain armoury, weapons or even new magic spells!

If you start out as a level 3 I would recommend to not start training your combat stats right away. First do all the quests you can do.

List of Quests to do for Attack Experience:

- Waterfall Quest (13.750 Attack exp)

- Tree Gnome Village (11.450 Attack exp)

- The Grand Tree (18.400 Attack exp)

- Death Plateau (3k Attack exp)

- Underground Pass (3k Attack exp)

After all those quests u will be 42 Attack. I would recommend to do other quests to get your attack level up aswell like Vampire slayer (4.825 Attack exp), Mountain Daughter (1k Attack exp) and Fight Arena (12.175 Attack exp).

List of Quests to do for  Prayer experience:

- The Restless Ghost (1.125 Prayer exp)

- Ghosts Ahoy (2.400 Prayer exp)

- Priest in Peril (1.406 Prayer exp)

- Mountain Daughter (2k Prayer exp)

Armoury:

First of all the mithril gloves. Considered to be the best gloves in the game for 1 defense pures and they are cheap! (Only 1k-2k in the rewards chest after u completed enough Recipe for Disaster subquests.)

For the mithril gloves u need to get a few levels which are listed down below:

- 41 cooking

- 20 firemaking

And u also need to do certain quests:

- Cook's assistent

- Fishing Contest

- Goblin diplomacy

- Big chompy bird hunting (U will need 5 fletching, 30 cooking and 30 ranged to do this quest)

- Getrudes cat (Once u have done this cat, drop your kitten so it follows you and feed it and pay attention to it while doing other quests to grow it into a cat. This will take 2 to 3 hours and once u have a cat pick it up and store it in your bank for the Evil dave part because u will need a cat for it. Can also be done with a kitten but just takes way longer.)

- Shadow of the Storm. (Pre-quests for Shadow of the Storm are The Golem and Demon slayer, also requires 30 crafting)

So once u have all those quests and stats u can start on Recipe for Disaster!

U are going to help to following people:

- The mountain Dwarf

- Skrach Uglogwee

- The goblin Generals

- Evil dave

- Pirate Pete

After u have done all this, in the basement of lumbridge there will be a chest where u can buy-items from and that includes the Mithril Gloves!

A prayer book. A completed prayer book from the quest horror from the deep gives good offensive stats. (The zamorak one.)

The requirments for Horror from the Deep are 35 agility, can be 30 agility if you use a summer pie to boost your agility, and a small miniquest called bar crawl.

After this u can claim a prayer book in the lighthouse on the second floor and fill it up with pages, once it is filled up with pages 1 to 4 it gives bonus stats.

Zamorak gives +8 in all offensive stats and +8 prayer.

Guthix gives +4 in all stats and +8 prayer.

Saradomin gives +8 in all defensive stats and +8 prayer.

Tip:  - Once u have completed a book u can have 2 of the same books at once.

        - Even a book with no pages gives +8 prayer bonus

Ava's accumulator. A device that retrieves your arrows/knifes/darts so you don't have to do so!

Quite an easy quest. should not be to much work but really nice if you have one.

Requirments:

- Ernest the Chicken

- Priest in Peril

- The Restless Ghost

- 18 Slayer

- 19 Crafting

- 30 Ranged

- 35 Woodcutting

A Bearhead. Reward from the Mountain Daughter quest. Cool looks and good defensive stats.

http://prntscr.com/1klp1a

Requirments:

- 20 Agility

Ghostly robes. Magic gear that gives good magic offensive stats and defensive stats but also has great looks!

The Requirments for getting the ghostly robes is 53 Thieving and u need to have started Desert treasure and need to have obtained the ring of visibility from the shadow diamond part of the quest. Also u need to have done the Restless Ghost.

Link to how to obtain the Ghostly robes:

http://www.zybez.net/guides/33/ghostly_gear/

That is it for pure armoury, all of the other armour doesnt require any quest but requirs a certain skill level.

Weaponary:

Dragon dagger and Dragon longsword. Two of the most strongest weapons in the game right now. Recommended to this quest if you are planning to get 60 attack or higher.

The Requirment for this Dragon dagger is the Lost City quest. To do this quest u need 31 crafting and 36 woodcutting and it is recommended to have atleast 30 ranged or 9 magic to kill the Tree Spirit at the end of the quest from a safespot.

Dragon Scimitar. The best weapon to train strength with as a 1 def pure and also really effective in pking!

The Requirment for the Dragon Scimitar is Monkey Madness, before u can start Monkey Madness u have to do 2 easy quests. The Grand Tree and Tree gnome village. U need 25 agility for the Grand Tree quest but since u already need 30 agility for Horror from the Deep u should already have this.

NOTE: DONT CLAIM THE REWARD AT DAERO, IT GIVES YOU DEFENSE XP WHICH WOULD RUIN YOUR 1 DEF PURE. YOU CAN EQUIP THE DRAGON SCIMITAR AFTER YOU HAVE SLAIN THE DEMON AND RETURNED TO THE GNOME KING.

Crystal Bow. A really strong bow to have but requires alot of questing to finally get it.

Ah the crystal bow, one of my favourite weapons for pures in the game at this moment. But this will take a day or two to get so be patient.

The crystal bow gets unlocked after you do the Roving elves quest but the Roving elves quest has quite some requirments to get. Thats why I recommend to get this as your last weapon to get.

Requirments:

- Plague City

- Biohazard

- Underground Pass (Requires 25 ranged, but recommended to have atleast 50+ thieving and agility, otherwise this quest will take really long.)

- Regicide ( Requires 56 agility, 10 crafting and a high thieving level is recommended)

- Waterfall Quest

New magic spells!

Ancient Magics. A new spell book which includes teleports around the wilderniss and canifiss. Also has alot of high damaging spells and spells that hit multiple targets at once. (Burst and Barrage spells.)

To unlock these new spells u have to do the Desert Treasure quest. Which will be easy if you have 43+ prayer, otherwise u need to find a partner who blocks certain 'bosses' for you.

Requirments:

- The Dig Site (Needs 25 thieving, 10 agility and 10 herblore)

- Priest in Peril

- Temple of Ikov (42 thieving and 40 Ranged)

- The Tourist Trap (20 smithing and 10 fletching)

- Troll Stronghold (Death plateau, 15 agility and 30 thieving)

- Waterfall Quest

- 53 thieving

- 10 slayer

- 50 firemaking

- 50 magic.

Going to work now, will be finishing it later on with pictures and good spots to train/moneymaking, also have to post the last armoury etc like the Fezz helm etc. If you have any addings to this guide/Feedback post them down below and I will add them to the guide and giving you credit.

This isn't so much of a guide how to make a pure, there is no training or anything about where to get your XP.

The quest information is good though, those are all quests pures should have done in my opinion.

Touch it up with some colour and training methods, and seperate the training from the quests, and maybe even put the quests in a logical order to do them. :)

Simple. don't train defence. lol jk, i have all this done on my pure. nice guide though smile.png

also, you should add in that if you do monkey madness for the d Scimi, once you finish you won't be able to go back at all which means you can't train at skeletons for like 4x the amount of xp you'd get for chinning(Red chinchompa training).

Edit: Also add that you NEED to do the two gnome quests before monkey madness BEFORE you get 60 attack because they both give you attack experience. 60 attack is optional, but whip only trains attack so there's no point in getting higher than 60 unless you are going for a 99 attack 1 def pure.

If you took the time to actually read it, you'd realize he only has the "Armoury" started. also, he says at the end that he will finish it later.

You have a lot of grammar errors, such as replacing the word "you" with the letter "u" and not capitalizing certain things that need capitalization. I know it sounds grammar nazi like but it would add to the guide as a whole and make it look cleaner biggrin.png

I agree. i think Grammar should be perfect in a guide. you never know when someone who isn't great with english need to translate it or something. and it just looks more professional. :)

Can you please look over the guide and quote it and mark the mistakes in a different colour so I can change it?

If he's only done armoury, how come there are sections for weaponry such as the dragon dagger, dragon scim, and crystal bow including quests required to get those weapons? I read it, skimmed some of it, and gave him appropriate feedback which was asked for. All of the quests are there, weapons are there, and bonuses are there, it could just use some training method / levels.
