December 7, 20169 yr So my chem final is tonight in like 7 hours, and I'm looking over this practice test that I've heard is very similar to last years final, few problems I don't understand how to do so hopefully you guys/girls can help, and ill forever be in your debt Problem 1: Problem 2: On this problem I assume the orbital B is the largest since principal quantum number = Size Problem 3: Problem 4/5: For question 27, it appears like a trigonal pyramid so the angle should be 120 degrees ? And on Problem 28, the carbon is surrounded by 4 electron domains so it would be a tetrahederal which means its sp3 hybridized orbitals ? Problem 6/7: Problem 33 always trips me up I forget how to calculate percent yield of a substance and for Problem 34 do I have to find the molar mass of the solute NaNo3 ? Thanks !!!!!! December 7, 20169 yr Watch Breaking Bad - May offer you some coaching O/T - I have no clue about chemistry - good brains here - I'm gone.
December 7, 20169 yr Just did one of them really fast for you, I'll send my work. If I didn't have my physical chemistry test tomorrow I would Skype you and tell you how to do all of them. Question 1: h = planck's constant c = speed of light Answer should be in (J) Question 2: Wouldn't your highest principle quantum number be the highest shell you can reach?
December 7, 20169 yr For # 34 you can relate Molarity and volume together because Molarity = moles / volume So you can use the equation M1V1 = M2V2 (.25 L) x (1.60 M) = (.30 L) x (? M) That equation should give you the right answer Edited December 7, 20169 yr by ThatIrishSOB

December 7, 20169 yr Yeah I took AP Chemistry last year so I feel like I should know this stuff but I just don't
December 7, 20169 yr 9 should be C someone correct me if I am wrong. #3 is basic chemistry and if you can't do that IDK how the fuck you're going to do the rest PP already calced the joules, and the idealized chit idfk I know how to figure it out if we are comparing various elements, but never seen QN asked like that. 33 is ez stop being a doofus 34 = Moles/Volume = Molarity Edited December 7, 20169 yr by Timekeeper

December 8, 20169 yr Author so did you solve the problem yet? Had my final last night, overall wasn't as bad as I was expecting
