Token Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 I have to kill the browser process every 10 hours or so, sometimes it crashes itself because of the resource usage. I'm only "running" 4 osbot forum tabs, but it behaves the same no matter how many I run. It's not on my phone, it's an alienware laptop with a i7 4720HQ cpu, this website uses more resources than dark souls 3. I think we should get rid of some javascript. We could start here 2
Rudie Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 (edited) Can't you make like a Tampermonkey script for yourself that disables it? I agree tho, it's insane how much resources it uses. Edited September 16, 2016 by Taylor Swift
venetox Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 More likely to be a/multiple memory leak(s) than just having too much JavaScript.Certainly something that needs to be looked into, because although JavaScript has garbage collection, it seems like it has many loopholes. Although I'm not particularly knowledgeable when it comes to JavaScript so who knows.

Solution Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 It's honestly not that bad for me, but judging from the thread I'm a minority. Suppose it's something to look into then.
ez11 Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 (edited) gtfo dont do anything to the moving star background if its really a big issue for you, you can just stop botting also for me the website doesnt cause any problems Edited September 16, 2016 by ez11
Prolax Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 My IE11 uses 94mb memory with only 1 OSbot page open.
