I have to kill the browser process every 10 hours or so, sometimes it crashes itself because of the resource usage. I'm only "running" 4 osbot forum tabs, but it behaves the same no matter how many I run.

 

It's not on my phone, it's an alienware laptop with a i7 4720HQ cpu, this website uses more resources than dark souls 3. I think we should get rid of some javascript. We could start here

Can't you make like a Tampermonkey script for yourself that disables it? I agree tho, it's insane how much resources it uses.

More likely to be a/multiple memory leak(s) than just having too much JavaScript.

Certainly something that needs to be looked into, because although JavaScript has garbage collection, it seems like it has many loopholes.

 

Although I'm not particularly knowledgeable when it comes to JavaScript so who knows.

True that hoping they would fix it soon....

It's honestly not that bad for me, but judging from the thread I'm a minority. Suppose it's something to look into then.
