I would rather somebody dig up an old topic on a question/topic than making an entirely new thread about it. IE: 500 threads saying "No local scripts, what do?" Usually I agree though, it does get obnoxious. I don't really see it a lot in these forums though. Maybe I'm just blind.

So, what do you guys prefer to do when you are botting? For example, take a fletching bot. Is it smarter to bot in a highly populated world in Pest Control, where you'll be lost in a sea of other legit players and bots, or better to bot in Pest Control with 1-2 other people to minimize the chances of being around during a bot bust/potential reporters? Is it better to bot at a normal bank (IE lumbridge) and risk getting one of the broken randoms, or bot in a random free area but risk being a more obvious bot? (Not many legit players are worried about constant randoms during skilling) What are your guys' preferences, and what precautions do you take that aren't necessarily proven to work, but make you more comfortable leaving your bot unsupervised? I didn't sell you the script, I believe it was a donation to continue the beta test. I doubt I even have members on my account anymore. I may be able to check at some point, though. The script literally makes under 20K an hour, and I paid 1M for it. I paid 1M for a script that was originally making at least 100k per hour. See the damned difference? You know you can just edit the script yourself, it's not hard. Looting was broken and there's nothing Eliot can do about it. You probably made that 1m back already off of the script anyway, so consider it free. I get that it's extremely annoying, and it's not about the money, but script writers ARE allowed to discontinue their scripts. Even with a bare bare bare bones knowledge of java, you can just edit the script yourself. Hell, it might not even be the scripts fault, it could just be the API. Are you using the latest version? because the last version had broken looting anyway.

No, because OSBot requires you attach a paypal to pay monthly. This is a pain in the ass, means you can't purchase the script with vouchers, and a lot of people do not have verified paypals or are unwilling to attach their paypal to a script. That's why we hate monthly fees.

I go to a magnet high school, specifically for advanced math/science. Senior this year, just finished up AP Calc and AP Forensics last semester (sounds harder than it really is, it's more or less average at my school). After high schools my plans are community college (it's just too damn expensive) to get an associates, and then finishing my Bachelors at one of the more accredited state colleges. Even as a senior, I have no idea what I want to do in the future. Cool thread, can't wait to see what people say.

Prices per hour fluctuate greatly. It will drop below 100k/hr after it's been out for awhile. If you don't like it, go make 70k/hr with snape grass. Zawy won't be on for awhile because he's in a different time zone. After factoring in law runes, it's about 110k/hr at peak.

What are the levels required? Just out of curiosity, plus it's something you should include in the post.

Run mods in low CPU mode. Close all other programs you aren't currently using, including useless/excess services (GameBooster can help you do this, as can ccCleaner). Overclock your PC. Run bots in high priority (task manager -> processes -> java.exe, right click, set priority -> high or realtime) Run 2-3 bots per client, with multiple client (I hear it helps managing a balance between CPU and RAM usage)

That's what I was thinking, but this is not my request to make it premium. Just because it's easily recreated DOES NOT mean it shouldn't be premium. "Easily created" is also pretty relative, considering 95% of the members on the forum haven't even attempted java, meaning it would be impossible for them. Also, just because it can be created in a matter of hours doesn't mean someone is going to spend hours coding a simple script when they can buy one for $5, you know what I mean? Those "hours" of time aren't to be taken lightly, because time IS money. If someone REALLY needs a man killer, and it's "so easy" but they aren't willing to pay the equivalent of 5 McChickens for one, then they can spend hours of their time writing their own.

C'mon man, are you serious? There are even other free fighters. It's one thing not to pay for scripts, but it's another to totally dismiss the fact that scripters work hard to provide you with quality scripts. The fact that some are free blows my mind. Go learn java and do it yourself.

I don't plan on selling it for a lot. I never made the script premium because I didn't feel it was premium worthy, but people are telling me to so that herb prices won't plummet, which is why I asked people how much I should make it. I haven't personally used it, but their logic there is solid. I would sell it for the good of the script, not necessarily for the money. Even charging $.99-$1.99 will stop leechers. It will also make the script more useful for training (what it should be used for) since worlds won't be packed. I support this 100%, even if you make it super cheap. I mean c'mon, .99 cents is practically free anyway.

Make it $2-3 dollars tops (per month), the script isn't worth it solely for goldfarming. It's more of an "easy training script" with gp being an added bonus. Preferably though, charge like $6.99 or something for lifetime. I NEVER pay month per script, neither will a lot of other people. Plus, it's not exactly an advanced script to write.
